I have experienced exactly what you have, and have solved this problem. I will describe my routine in the most illustrious way possible.
Say I began at medium rare EQ. Kegels alone took that to medium well, quite a good jump. I found isometric kegels to work better than isotonic. After a while though, my EQ to fall towards medium, which auggested Kegel overtraining. Still good, but could be better. I added reverse kegels, which took me blasting to Well Done.
Reverse kegels are really what did it for me, those took me to an EQ that I had never been to before in my life. I think starting with normal kegels is the way to go though. You’ll know you are ready to do reverse kegels once you can reverse kegel at a 50% erection and feel significant but painless pressure in your glans, and see it inflate and get nice and shiny.
In terms of a timeline…that really depends on you. I didn’t have a routine, I did them when I felt like it. The only possible downside is that, if you are at work and someone calls you over, you’ll need some way to hide your monolith.
