Manual Stretching For Uncircumcised Penis Issues

Hi,

I am about 3 weeks into my PE journey, starting with the newbie routine. I realized a few days ago however that the stretch I have been feeling has been in the skin of the shaft rather than in the ligaments.

This is because I am uncircumcised and I did not realize I was supposed the do the exercises with the skin pulled back so as to grip the ‘meat’ of the shaft and then pull. I had been doing the stretches with the skin covering the glans/head which doesn’t stretch the ligaments: atleast for me it does not.

Subsequent to realizing my mistake I began to stretch with the foreskin pulled back using an ‘ok’ overhand grip just under the glans, while lightly pulling the skin of the base back with a V grip (this took a considerate amount of trial and error to find a grip that was appropriate without causing pain as I feel I am very sensitive to pain/pressure in this area)and immediately I could feel the difference! The ligament stretch was felt for the first time and it felt incredible. After doing a few stretches I could visibly see the effectiveness of the exercise as my dick looked very long and stretched out and noticeably different to how it looked like when I stretched with the skin over the head. After a day or two however I encountered a big problem.

While doing one such stretch in the following day or two, I felt a slight twinge of pain in the side of the penis just under the glans. I realized it meant I had probably not been careful enough with my grip as I had not applied excessive force and so I adjusted the grip and continued. Over the next day I could feel a tiny amount of pain every now and again in that area throughout the day and so I took that day and the next off of stretching and just stuck to jelqing, as jelqing does not cause me any pain at all and only results in positive PIs.

Today I tried to stretch and I got that pain again. I made sure to use heat, I washed and dried my penis and I used baby powder to ensure my grip was solid, but it still hurts to grip my dick at the place with the foreskin pulled back. I don’t know what to do to stretch now. I feel like the tiny blood vessels I have under my foreskin are very delicate and these are what are causing the pain. It sucks that I can’t stretch because length is my main goal right now. I don’t know what to do, any advice would be welcome, thank you in advance.

Hi Waffles,

Ya, unfortunately stretching and jelqing, and hanging, and clamping, and pretty much everything is slightly more complicated for us uncircumcised guys.

And unfortunately, I can’t really help you, as you have to learn exactly what works for you.
It’s just trial and error, and lots of listening to your penis and how it reacts to what you do to it.

Back off a bit, either in the strength of your grip, or the strength of your pull, or most likely both ;) .
Experiment. Take a couple of days off if your foreskin is a bit raw and sensitive. This isn’t a sprint, it’s an extremely long marathon.

STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in

Rest a couple of days and then try again. I was sensitive to in the begining but got used to it in just a few weeks. I would use the v-grip when doing manual stretching if I were you.

Hi Richard,

Good advice. I am going to give it a rest for sure and try again in some days. Have you ever experienced something like I have described? It’s like the skin of the shaft under the glans once you pull back the foreskin completely, not the foreskin itself. There are many tiny blood vessels there. Anyway hopefully once the pain subsides the discomfort will as well and I can go forward with stretching. Thanks for the reply mate.

Hi Patrik,

Did you also have some painful experiences in the beginning? I am just hoping this is a normal occurrence for an uncircumcised guy who is new to PE, and that I’m not an outlier who is one of few unlucky guys who can’t do stretching ever because of a sensitive dick. I will try the v-grip once I have healed up. Thanks for that.

No, I felt no pain except a little sore from the sessions sometimes witch is ok. When it comes to doing manual stretching there is no difference being uncircumcised or not. Just pull down your foreskin and stretch🙂
I was sensitive in my glans in the beginning but got used to it real quick.

Hi,

Lucky you! My glans is fine its the part under the glans where you grip which is the problem. Hopefully it resolves itself though. I will have to wait and see.

There are a lot of sensitive small blood and lymph vessels for sure. I have had little aches and even stinging from over enthusiastic PE.

Stretching has occasionally made my foreskin right behind the glans raw, and squeezing too hard while stretching has given me slight internal aches in the past, and that has always been a sign for me to back off and take a rest until it feels better. After a while you find the right amount of pressure, and the correct place to apply it at, as well as how much slack your foreskin should have.

My biggest issue, and an injury I got when I was a beginner, was a lymph vessel at the top of my shaft that becomes hard when I get over-enthusiastic with jelqing too erect, or overdoing manual squeezes. It goes down when I massage the top of the base of my penis, but if I aggregate it, it will keep happening as soon as I do any jelqing, so if it happens, it’s time for a 1-2 week total break.

Oh damn sorry to hear that happened. Jelqing while too erect is something I always am mindful to avoid because of stories like yours. How do you differentiate between blood vessels and lymph vessels? Do they differ in appearance?

You know, that’s a good question! And I don’t think I’m qualified to answer it ;) hopefully someone more knowledgeable in physiology can chime in on how to differentiate them.

It happened so long ago, I don’t remember how exactly I “diagnosed” it to be a lymph vessel, but most likely by reading a thread on tp ;)

Hello waffles93. I’m not a native English speaker so I will do my best to communicate with you.

I have the same problem that you have. I am uncircumcised and I can’t do the stretch without feeling pain.

I did PE many times with no results. I think it was because I was doing it in the wrong way (making the grip with the skin covering my glans) and with no consistency.

When I began doing the stretching in the right way, I started to feel pain in the frenulum, which is a little bit short. Do you feel pain in your frenulum?

I read your posts and I realized we have almost the same measurements and unfortunately the same problem.

I think doing PE one day on and one day off could help, until the penis get use to the exercises.

Also I was thinking if making V-stretching with the glans covered by the skin would work for uncircumcised guys in the search of length.

This is my idea: hold the glans with one hand, then with the other hand make pressure in the middle of the penis and in the base. I think it could work for uncircumcised guys.

Saludos.

Hi Giskard,

Your English is great! Sorry to hear you had no gains. Did you not get any gains in girth from jelqing either? How long have you been doing PE for?

I can get pain in the frenulum but only if I grip directly onto it. So instead I gripped the other two sides instead of the frenulum(bottom) and top side. Also you have to be careful when you pull back your foreskin too much as maybe the frenulum is being pulled too much.

Honestly I can remember being a growing teenager and having a very tight foreskin and frenulum at one point. My foreskin wouldn’t even pull back because of it. One day I must have been masturbating and I think I pulled it back by force on accident. At the time I think it hurt and I was shocked, I thought I had broken my dick. But it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I’m not saying to force pull your foreskin and frenulum with excessive force but I would imagine that it is possible to condition it over time to become easier to deal with.

My pain unfortunately was felt on the left side of the penis, under the foreskin, a few mm under the glans. I think I bruised it from gripping too hard. I haven’t stretched now for 2 days, I will give it another 3 days of rest before I try to stretch again.

Thanks for the tip about the V stretches. Have you tried them? I don’t suppose you ever were successful in stretching the ‘normal’ way due to your frenulum issue? Have you felt that ligament stretch yet rather than foreskin stretch? Because now having felt both I can tell you the ligament stretch feels completely different. I am wondering if its possible to get that ligament stretch from the V stretches with the foreskin still covering the glans. I will experiment with it in a few days once I have fully recovered.

Waffles93, I did PE many times. The longest was 2 months (in a very bad way: no warming, bad technique, too much force, I got red dots). Once I learned how to do it, the longest time doing PE was 3 weeks. Why? Privacy, lack of constancy, pain. I got no gains with jelq. Just three weeks is very little time to see results.

I’m doing frenulum exercises to enlarge it, I hope it works. Also I’m practicing with the V grip.

When I was like 15 years old, I tried to enlarge my frenulum. When erect, I pulled my foreskin back, with force, over and over, and as you can guess, I got hurt. I bled a little, a lot of pain, but my frenulum didn’t enlarge.

I will practice the stretch again in a moment.

Yes I tried the V stretch with the glans covered. I can’t do the normal stretch because of my frenulum.

What do you mean when you say: “the ligament stretch feels completely different”?

Honestly, when I do the stretch (normal or V) with the glans covered, I can feel the tension only in the body of the penis and the ligament, without tension in the skin, but everybody says that it is wrong. What do you think about?

Disclosure: circumcised here. I’ve found that manual stretching has become easier as I’ve gained more flesh (i.e., turkey neck). As I’ve gained more flesh toward the glans, I have more to grab onto. I just pull the flesh forward and use it like a knob to hold onto. I don’t try to find a clear spot.
