First let me say that my primary question is on stretching but there are a lot of related topics that I might ask about. Lets face it, PE is really interrelated and one topic usually leads to another. I am new to the forum and am not familiar with all the SOP’s, so if I need to start new threads for each individual question please let me know and I will be happy to do that. Now that my disclaimer is done, here’s my question.

1: Is it possible to over do on manual stretching? By this I don’t mean stretch too far or too hard, I mean can you stretch too frequently? Is it OK to stretch everyday or is it best to leave your penis completely alone on rest days? I find that the shower is a good and private place to do some stretching, so I usually do about 10 minutes of manual stretching in the shower everyday. I’ve found that a good hot shower is as good as any hot wrap.

2: Is stretching without jelqing a complete waste of time and energy? I usually do not jelq in the shower so I didn’t know if I would see gains from stretching alone. At this point I am more concerned with length gains right now anyway. I would jelq in the shower but I find it a bit difficult to get it up without some porn or my girlfriend in front of me. So you can see where this is going, my next question is about EQ.

3: Should I be concerned about my EQ at this point? I am in my late 20’s and find that I can easily achieve erections and keep them for hours when I’m with my girlfriend or watching porn, however, getting it up without some kind of stimulation is very difficult. I never have morning wood and didn’t consider this a problem until I started reading about it on this site. I am not very concerned about it right now but I am concerned about ED as I get older. I used to masturbate quite a lot in my younger years but probably no more than anyone else. I’d say once a day. Have I poorly conditioned my penis? Is morning wood the best indicator of a healthy penis?

I have numbered the questions so that everyone can see the easily. If you all could number your responses to my questions in the same manner that will help to keep things tidy. I welcome all responses since I am very new to PE and I am sure that many of you have a lot more experience.

1. Probably not. Bennett8 gained 2 inches over 3 years from doing 5 or 6 short sessions of manual stretching per day (his thread can be found here), and Krod is another guy who stretched every day and made impressive gains, taking rest days only for his jelqing.

2. Gains can be made from stretching alone, and from jelqing alone. Combining the two just seems like an obviously beneficial choice.

3. If you’re worried about EQ, throwing some jelqing into your routine will help maintain it. There seems to be a pretty clear correlation with a regular jelqing routine and improved EQ, so even if you’re not currently having problems there’s always room for improvement and you can possibly safeguard yourself against future declines in EQ.

Wow a 2 inch gain from stretching alone, that really impressive. I noticed that most people start seeing their gains after about 3 months, does that sound about right?

Morning wood is a good indicator only if you wake up early enough to see it. Otherwise, the ease of achieving an erection without the aid of porn or your girlfriend would probably be the best indicator of EQ.

Watching too much porn or masturbating too often can have a negative impact on your EQ.

That’s what I was worried about. Is it possible to retrain your penis? I can get an erection without my girl or porn, it just takes a lot more time.

I’d recommend that you take a break off porn and masturbate less frequently. Your EQ should improve with time.

That’s good advice. I haven’t masturbated for about 3 months now since I have a girlfriend, but is it OK for her to give me handjobs? It’s kinda the same thing.

I guess it should be OK. The problem with some guys is that they masturbate every day or several times a day and that usually causes EQ to drop until they give it a rest. Also, more than a few guys reported being desensitized by porn which made it more difficult for them to achieve an erection without the aid of porn.

I’d also suggest doing kegels. They do wonders for EQ.

Regarding overdoing manual stretches: I personally feel that you can overdo them. I have always felt sore in the ligaments after stretching and I don’t think I use very much force.

I masturbate or have sex almost every day.Now that I been hanging I been get erections all the dame time,it’s crazy I feel like I’m 14 aging.

Anyone know exactly what ligaments get stretched while performing manual stretches? I was wondering if doing a butterfly stretch or the splits would help to stretch the same ligaments. I have included a link of the butterfly stretch that I’m talking about. Thanks for all of the opinions everyone.

Yes I tried doing it twice a days and had some pain at the top of my penis after day 2. I used to stretch Monday thru Friday and take weekends off. I think rest days are good. I still like the hot wrap and the hot shower after

IMO no. Been almost two years now that I’ve cut back to stretching to 3 days a week sometimes only 2 days so I don’t gain. You could potentially gain more with both but stretching alone is an option.

Based on my experience morning wood has always been a good indicator of my overall body health. Usually the better shape I’m in, the more morning wood,however, outside stress and/ or you can be in great shape and be over training could have an affect.
