When I measure, I give it all I got. What I mean is that not only do I stick the ruler way back against the pubic bone, I also tighten the muscles that you use in Kegals to add a small fraction of an inch. I squeeze and shove the ruler back. Is this the right way to go about measuring?

Another thing is, I’ve been PEing for four days. And in this time I measured from BPEL 6.75” to 7.25”. I know this is really impossible for gains in four days, because I am young, thin, and active in sports, so I doubt my penis would be that atrophied. Is this because I’m measuring wrong and just trying to push harder?

Sounds like you are about to draw blood. Just be consistent with your technique.

No, i don’t press that hard. My pubic bone area isn’t even sore at all when I remove the ruler, as some people have said happens to them.

I don’t press that hard either. I have to change ruler though because I have the metallic one with sharp edges. If I press harder, I will get an extra 1/4”. The main thing is to be consistent.

I think that is not important the way you measure it . Just measure always the same way so you can see PE benefits .

I agree, measure it the same way each time. I measure like you do: I find the super-ultra-ultimate-maximum measurement. This way, you can’t really “cheat” (ie press harder into your pubic bone) in future measurements, so that you can more accurately monitor your progress.

As far as your .5” gain goes, did you measure after your PE workout? Always remember to allow 48 hours after any workout before you make a measurement.

See I am one of those people that sleeps with my ruler under my pillow. But the 48 hour thing might be my problem. See I thought I was getting a little different readings.

My question was more of how hard to you get your penis before you measure it. I find that when I have a super hard on, it the middle of masturbating it’ll be bigger than if I got a hard on that’s just measure. I was thinking maybe because there is some sort of stretching going on that made it bigger?

Not sure if that makes sense.

When I measured, I waited probably about 30 hours after PE. After that time I found that I gained from 1/4 to 1/2 inches in a week, which still seems very awkward.

I am concerned right now about the measuring aspect because having just started, I am interested in seeing where I compare to most people. Seeing as that insecurity is what lead me here in the first place. For instance, the Kinsey study, were those people pushing, or was it just bone pressed. I’ve read many threads, and there are so many variations on average and all of the different sub-categories above and below. I thought that since the Kinsey report is the most accurate that I know of, I’d like to measure as similar as possible to that. If anyone knows any more about this, I would would be grateful to hear of it.

G Lantern: Yes, I’m serious. I like to watch porn and masturbate a little bit when I measure, just to make sure that I’m 100% erect. Getting hard just by having dirty thoughts don’t yeild 100% erections for most people.

Normally I have at least a full three days off before I measure, I use porn to ensure maximum erection and I press as hard as I can!

That way, I have the absolute maximum measurement I could possibly reach so that if next time when I measure, I know it is because I have gained, not because of some other reason.

The wife may not always feel my “official” measurement, but I’m not phased by that. I am only interested in the fact I am gaining.

I get my official measurement on sundays, *before* my PE session. Afterwards, I get my weekly post-PE measurement, but I always look at that as unofficial, and wouldn’t put it in my sig. I only do that one for self-encouragement.
