Motivation, Routine, Perseverance

After reading a lot here, it seems that I should try to have the following attitude.

Today’s means are tomorrow’s ends. If I focus on just today each day, then gains will happen. Don’t measure myself everyday. Rather, see to it that I’ve done the right thing everyday.

I know this works with losing weight. I don’t check my weight each day. Rather, I check if I exercise right and ate right.

I’m pretty sure this is how they treat alcoholism and drug addiction. Don’t be thinking that you have to do it everyday. Rather, on each day, tell yourself you have to do it on that day, and don’t worry about tomorrow. You start each day knowing you can do it just that one day. I think this is where they got the expression “One day at a time.”
