My first post.
Hopefully this works ok my phone seems to be capitalizing letters at random. I am trying to understand the rules and guidelines of the forums, hope I am not posting in the wrong place. I’ve been reading these forums here and there for a few years now and doing some light exercises. I am 40 years old, lift weights 3-4 times a week and try to walk a mile on the treadmill as part of my warm up. I do smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day and occasionally smoke marijuana, drinking is usually only done on holidays like the 4th and New Years and in pretty small amounts.
I have not followed a very strict routine, just jelqing a couple of times a week and occasionally use a penis ring when getting intimate. I have never been that unhappy with my size around 6.75”L x 5.5-5.75”G erect. I’ve been both too big and too small. I recently decided to give pumping a try so I picked up just a basic pump with a seal for the base seems to be the most common style in many different brands. Only used it a few times very lightly to get used to the feel of it so no results from that yet.
Now though I’m a bit worried. After the last time using it everything was fine. Strong erections everyday without any trouble. Then in comes a new woman I’ve been interested in for 2 years who is well out of my league but some how I got lucky. Well almost. For the first time in my life I could not obtain an erection, waited a week and no change. Whether it’s masturbation or with her there is no response when it comes time to get down to business. I am still getting morning wood so I keep trying to convince myself it’s just anxiety but I am still quite worried. When hanging out, relaxing, and being close to her I get to about 70% but then when we try to be intimate it is gone.
Should I just wait this out and continue getting comfortable with her and hope that’s the problem or am I foolish for not jumping on the phone to my physician right away? In the mean time all jelqing, pumping, and ring use is on hold. Feeling pretty scared about this. I know I haven’t done a lot of exercises but sometimes it doesn’t take much.
