My way of tracking length progress
This may not be a new idea for some people, but I thought I would share.
Basically I have a LeLux cylinder with a wide flange. I pump for 15 minutes or so and then set a ruler on the flange and measure the length. That length seems to be about 1 inch longer than my BPEL, but the exact difference doesn’t matter because I am only trying to track progress. If the pumped length increases a little bit then I believe the BPEL increased too.
The advantage for me is that the pumped length is very consistent whereas the BPEL varies greatly, so I can track the slow progress and feel some hope.
