New To This and Would Like Advice

Hey guys,

I’ve been cruising around on the boards for a bit, and I keep thinking I’m missing something obvious somewhere on these boards. But I am just trying to figure out some beginner routines.

I did this for about 2 months prior and didn’t notice much other than a higher self confidence which was good but I quit doing it as it is somewhat time consuming. I am pretty into bodybuilding and I am starting to look pretty strange with the size of my member, so I figured it was time to really give this a go and just add it to my workout routines.

I really want to try it again now. My stats are around 5.1X4.5 and I would really like an increase in both. I am kind of looking for a beginner routine that I am sure is somewhere on this website but am having trouble narrowing down exact directions that I should follow for how long, and then what the next steps should be.

I have read about the J90, pumps, weights, stretches, different devices. I did some beginner routines with no effect, and want maybe more professional advice from the people on these boards. And please if there are things that I keep overlooking please let me know! I apologize, I’m sure this has been answered a million times already and I’m just not seeing it.

M_flo_G. I reckon the vets would say to do the newbie routine - manual stuff (jelqs stretching and edging) with heat, for at least 3 months. There’s a massive thread on it. That will also save you cash before you work out what tools, if any, you want for your tool! Good luck Bud.

It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine (doesn’t have to be the JP) and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue your routine.

Don’t forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

Can someone link me to the beginner’s routine?

I see this Jelqing & Stretching 101 Also this awesome one A Quickstart Guide to Manual Exercises which helps a lot, lots of good information and how to do it correctly.

But what is really the scheduling? How many should I do at a time of what exercise? Out of the ones listed which ones do you recommend I at least start with? Should I do it every day? I see a lot of people say give some time, as a bodybuilder I understand the concept of rest, so I imagine doing it every day is detrimental, but should I do it even less than every 2 days?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get a beginner routine down for a few months. One last question! Some of you in these comments recommend me starting small for a few weeks and upgrading, what does that tapering up look like? Also if anyone knows of a post that better explains this or a routine I would love to look at it as well thanks a ton!

The most common schedule is 2ON : 1OFF.

I’d start with a 1:1 instead and build intensity up to a 2:1 in a couple of weeks.

You have to try what is best for you, we all are different.

Take your time and read about what i linked above.
