Hey everyone. I’ve been lurking for quite some time. Couple years ago anyway. I’ve decided to revisit PE since last time I got very discouraged and experienced some pretty bad depression due to life. I’m pretty sure I was doing PE wrong too. So here I am trying to get back into the swing of things and man is my brain at an information overload! So much good info and no idea where to truly begin. I’ve seen a dozen threads for “beginners” and “starting PE” but the one I tried previously netted me zero gains in about 3 months and don’t want to just try anything again and waste my time.

A little bit about me maybe to help with a recommendation, I’m 29, 5’ 10” and 175 lbs, very active, athletic, good libido, ~14% body fat, really want to focus mostly on some girth gains though length is absolutely welcomed. I have clamps already but kinda scared to try as a beginner. I was thinking about getting a bathmate pump but hear so much mixed info on whether they work better than clamps. How do they work in conjunction with clamping? I like the idea of a pump because I’m not sure how jelqing is supposed to feel. If I’m doing it too hard, or not hard enough.. Before I was going hard enough to where it ALMOST hurt but didn’t bother me. Pumps seem simple. This pressure, this time, repeat.

I’m realistic in expectations as I said I’m a long time lurker and tried before and 3 months with nothing at all sucked but I was not expecting the world either. Found out my gf’s ex had an 11” so.. I need to at least start doing something! No way I’ll get there but being at ~6.5” EL and ~4.5” EG hopefully I have some room to grow! I’ve wanted to for a while just been very intimidated in the past.

Just do it, start back up with the newbie routine. Commit to it long term. Some guys do gain in the first 3 months - others need to make adjustments. But if you keep going and make those adjustments - reading the forums, testing out new things - gains are almost assured. For a guy with a healthy cock and long term motivation - PE has about a 99% success rate. For example you could increase intensity and reps of newbie exercise, add in heat (IR lamp), then learn ULI, fulcrum stretches, other manuals. Keep track of your BPFSL that is where you likely see first gains. If some months go by after all that and still nothing, then check out extender, hanger, pump, clamp, etc. Spend about 6 months on each new thing you try to give it a fair chance. PE happens slowly but surely and if too impatient it’s easy to give up early on something that’s actually working. Good luck.
