Newbie asking for guidance

Newbie asking for guidance

Hello everyone,

As this is my first post, I want to introduce myself. I’m 27 years old and single. I already knew about PE, but I haven’t ever tried anything. I feel “OK” with my size, although I would like to add length gains. I would appreciate if you could help a newbie.

I started doing PE on the 28 February. I’m doing the following routine while I am showering in hot water:

* 12 stretches, for 30 seconds or up to 100% erection. I pull 3 times on each side. This takes about 7 minutes.
* 8 ~ 10 jelqs. If I am near 100% erection, I stop immediately. I jelq for up to 10 minutes.

I am trying to follow the beginner routine. I do 2 days on and 1 off. Altogether I spend 15 minutes. If I need more time, I finish the exercises in the bathroom. The warming was done during 15 minutes in the shower.

My problem is as follows: I can easily have 100% strength when stretching or Jelqing, but I do not have it when I masturbate in the next day. I don’t know if I can masturbate or have sex only on the off days.

Have you noticed anything like that?

I don’t have weak erections. This is not what is going on (yet, maybe). I wake up excited and can easily have an erection. However, I would say that it is 80 ~ 90% of the original strength.
Do you have suggestions? I would appreciate hearing them from you.

Hi, br_silva00,

Welcome to Thundersplace. When you say “I can easily have 100% strength when stretching or Jelqing, but I do not have it when I masturbate in the next day,” what do you mean by “strength”? Hand-grip or erection level?

Hi Don Logan,
Sorry for my poor English. I was trying to find a synonym for “vigor” or “power”, but erection level is better.

I would say that I can have 100% erection level during and right after stretching and Jelqing. However, I didn’t have the same erection level when I masturbated this week.

Well masturbating causes a refractory response, means making an erection harder to happen.

Also, I am not sure based on the sentences, but stay away from jelqing at an erection over 70 percent.

You want your dick pliable, and you want to milk blood into the glands. The harder the erection the more likely for injury. I would stay at 50 percent and lower.

Since you are looking for a place to start, I suggest looking at the newbie routine.
It teaches you good fundamentals, of having a routine, consistency, and will iron out any newbie gains. Best of luck on your journey.

Thank you for your answers.

I was giving a break from PE. I stopped for 3 days because I don’t want to push and risk anything.
I recovered the erection level since I stopped jelqing and stretching.

I was talking to a friend I we both think that Jelqing is a really hard technique for a newbie. Until we don’t feel comfortable to jelq because of the possible injuries when you can’t control well your erection level.

What do you think of starting by the stretching and slowly (really slowly) introducing the jelqing?
Do you think that stretching can give me some length gain? I’m considering that I would practice the stretching for more time than in the newbie routine.

I think you should do what you feel comfortable with, however I want to add you did a good job taking a rest day.

A lot of people using morning wood as a gauge to either rest or continue training. But eventually erections become less hard and so a rest day is used to recover.

In addition if you go to the top of the website and click “more” and then click the link “FAQ” there is a link on PE exercises videos that show Jelqing and stretches to help learn to do the newbie routine correctly,

But I advise when starting to learn to jelq, just try and have a softer erection than harder erection. I tend to stay at 50% or less. The goal is just moving blood into the glans and getting a nice plump going.

The main reason I advocate for less erection is because it’s less likely to get an injury, and when you are learning, you are not really sure what to look for, so learning good technique is important for future gains and long term goals.
