Newbie looking for advice

Newbie looking for advice

Hello all! I am a complete newbie to PE. I must start by saying that I am a total skeptic, because all that I have read says that there are very minimal gains to be made with very possible risk of injury. That being said I really want to give this a try. I don’t want to risk the use of any devices right now. I want to simply start with the newbie routine and see how it goes. I really want to focus on girth. Length would be a plus, but girth is my main focus. At the moment I am 6” BPEL x 4.25 MSEG. I am really hoping to boost that MSEG. It would definitely boost my confidence and I feel as though it will make my sex life a lot better even though my wife says it doesn’t matter because she can’t ever orgasm to intercourse alone. Anyway I am looking for the best advice and some hope that something will work for me. Thank you in advance. Hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks

Welcome to Thunders Mf!

I think you are seeking reassurance, not advice. You are already aware of the newbie routine and are moving forward with it.

My advice is to continue to do so. Read the large amount of information on this site. Most of your questions are likely to have been asked already. Use the search button to assist. Ask questions if you cannot find a suitable response.

My support and reassurance is that many, many men have had success with PE, and you have a good chance to join this group. A positive attitude is most helpful. Stay diligent with your efforts, do not get impatient and overdo the exercises, watch your PI’s and slow down if they begin to degrade. Fatigue is ok, pain is not. Sex is more important than training, so do not forgo a pleasant time with the wife just to get another training session in.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thank you for the response 32. I guess I kind of am looking for some reassurance lol. Well there seem to be A LOT of people on here who have seen positive results so I will most definitely give it a try. I love this site. Everyone here seems so willing to help one another with positive feedback and advice. Hopefully I can add to it! If I can just get myself to 5” MSEG I would be ecstatic! I’ll post my progress!

My advice to those starting out is this:

Less is more, especially in the beginning.

Your most important mission, for the first 6 months to a year of your PE journey, is to learn about your own body and how your penis reacts to various forms of stress and strain. Learn how not to overdo it and cause an injury. Learn what your positive, neutral, and negative PIs are.

Once you do that, you will be in a position to know whether, and how much particular techniques, exercises, and devices will help you, or hinder you.

Most importantly:

-Always warm up before you do PE. Either with a hot wrap, or sitting under the hot water in the shower or in a bath for 5 minutes.

This really reduces the chance of injury, and makes the tissues more supple and stretchy.

-Rest days are very important, as are deconditioning breaks once you reach a plateau.

And finally:

Always measure BPEL And EG. NBP and FG measurements are meaningless in my opinion. Especially for tracking progress.

STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in

All sound advice!

Started 7.75x5.75

Currently: 9.75bpX6.75eg My Picture Thread

Goal:10.0bpX7.25mseg Building a thicker unit, click by click, pump by pump, jelq by jelq!

Wow Titliest! 2 full inches in length and 1 in girth. Crazy. I could only hope.

Can you tell me your routine DJ, and for how long you have been at it?

Hi Mf1204!

My routine: manual exercises (jelq - stretch - squeeze - clamp) with the use of my extender
(+ 5000 hours so far).
Extender: 20 hours to 40 hours per week.
Manuel exercises: 1 hour per day (5 days a week)
(weekend off)

I have been doing my P.E. since 2014.
Warning:
If I were you, I would do my “newbie exercises” only and not go through a step to avoid injury.
All the best !
DJ

Thank you DJ. I will stick with the newbie routine for at least a few months and see how it goes

I am new to this as well, and I’ve had a couple jelquing sessions so far. So far what I’ve learned is DO NOT forget to hot wrap in the beginning and DO NOT start out doing like 60-200 jelqs like the newbie routine says. The reason I say this is because I started out very light, 24 reps and that’s it. My dick was a little sore after that short of a session. I suggest you try the same, condition your dick, cause as a newbie I couldn’t imagine how sore I’d be at anything over 60 reps

NBEL: 5 Inches EG: 4.8 Inches

Goal: At least 6.5 length, 5.5 girth

Hey Gutterballs,

I actually have been doing 200 reps. I haven’t gotten sore at all. Hope I am doing them right! I am being very careful not to hurt myself and am not squeezing very hard while jelquing. So far I have done 2 days on 1 off 2 on 1 off. No gains yet! What the.! Lol
