Newbie question

I have been jelqing for almost two months now. Sometimes I notice gains, then sometimes I think it isn’t helping at all. Am I the only one that goes through this or do most people feel this way? I am 6.25 in length and want to get to about 7 or more. I belive I am doing the exercises right, three days on and one off. When should I see more results?

Since you seem to be noticing gains (and at the same time the lack of ‘em) you prolly are a) measuring wrongly or b) working against your body so-to-speak..
Check out the (IMO great) thread of sparkyx on Penile Fitness Indicators and incorporate them into your routine.
Note: No reaction of a penis as no workout routine is something that works for everyone.. Everybody has to find their own routine that matches their goal and prolly most important their body’s physiology :)

Again: If you are measuring correctly and you are getting sporadic results on measuring make sure that you do the measurements at the same time off your routine _and_ in exactly the same way everytime.
If you keep on getting sporadic jumps in gains / no-gains I’d guess you are overdoing the exercise bit.. Leave your precious some time to heal completely and then start off with lighter exercises, less repetitions in your current exercise, less pressure used in your exercise and/or simply other exercise that suit your physiology better.

Oh and another thing: Did you check out Bib’s LOT thread? It can give you a good headstart in information on your body (still remember it is still a theory waiting to be proven.. although it looks pretty promising :) ).

O.k—-here goes, I finally found a post I tried to get in newbies forum but I could not . I started jelqing/kegals back in late september.tired of mushy hard ons.do to ED
Dec 10 2004 measurments already posted,as promissed here are todays measurements.

Flacid lenth before exercises. 5 inches
Flacid girth ” ” 5 1/4

Lenth about 80% post/jelq 7 inches
Girth about 80% post/jelf 5 1/4

Before Ed set in about 7 years ago I used to be greater than 8 inches and about 6 girth.What they don’t tell you about ED is that you lose ground. Well as one could see I am gaining ground, I am recovering what I had lost due to illness and disease.

My next measurement post will be on March 10, 2005.

Routine as follows:

Warm up post shower,really hot shower.
Strecth 5-15 minutes
Wet jelk 200-700 slow jelks 3-5 seconds
Base holding pushing blood up the shaft {forgot what the exersize was called}
Cool down with hot wash cloth 5 minutes

100-200 kegals a day holding the contraction for 10-15 seconds

There are many guys that hit “plateaus” during PE. I would first take ys advise and make sure you are measuring consistently. Then take his advise again and read Sparkyx’s thread (IMHO one of the most helpful threads here). Then take his last bit of advise and read Bib’s LOT theory.

You may ask, why are you posting if your just saying the same thing as ys? Yeah, I really don’t know….lol.

Oh yeah, my advise (after you have followed ys’) is to maybe switch things up a bit. Change your routine a little. You don’t have to change time or intensity. Maybe just changing the order or the time of day. Whatever you do, be patient. Gains will come.
