Newbie questions Bathmate

So I just turned 50 a few days ago. Over the past years, I’ve noticed some minor issues with erection quality. I start off strong, but depending on the circumstances it might drop off to 70-90% or so (changing positions, going down on her, etc.).

Also, although I’m generally happy with my size (7x5), I wouldn’t mind a little extra girth. A half inch or so would be fine. More than an inch would be too much (for her). So I’ve been looking around the net, and frankly this site seems to have the most down to earth, common sense population; and you’re not trying to sell me stuff. If nothing else, a big kudos for that. I’m generally of the opinion that “get a bigger penis with this method/pill/device” is a bunch of snake oil, but reading through way too many of the posts/threads here has led me to believe it could be possible..

Here’s the question: I’m considering a Bathmate to help with erection quality and potentially gain a little girth. Is that feasible, and which of the two (hydro or hydromax) would you recommend? Any other input would also be appreciated.

TIA,

H

It’s feasible. With the Bathmate stuff, size is more important than which model you get. I had good luck with the old “Hercules” model, which I think has been discontinued. So I think I now have the X-40 model. They are good quality tools, but a bit expensive. Of course, there will also be a chorus of voices on here, telling you you must have a pump with a gauge on it, so you can monitor the vacuum level. Which is handy, but not necessary, as the bellows on the BM have a max vacuum level they cannot exceed. But I would try the newbie method on this site, I bet you will see a pleasant improvement in just a few days of doing the exercises.

Thanks for the reply. I’m looking at the Hydro7 or Hydromax7. The latter seems to be the model that replaced the X series.

I looked at the newbie stuff, but most of it seems oriented to stretching and length. I’m ok with where I’m at now (although I don’t think anyone would complain about another 1/4 or 1/2 inch). I’m mainly wanting to ensure or improve quality of erection, and girth.

I started with a Hydromax 7 and was fairly happy but I’ve switched over to a pump. The bathmate would always loose pressure and would have to constantly have to re pump to get pressure and would have to sit down so I wouldn’t push all the water out of it. Just a hassle but I did see a plump dick afterwards. I’ve gone with a 2” x 9” pump and I’m much happier. I’d suggest a 1.75” tube for you if you go with a pump.

You gotta jelq. Jelqing and edging will bring that EQ right back up.

It’s not just the gauge thing Ray. As you would know the bathmate beats their customers. I mean they offer any site selling the pump a 40% kickback. And I know from experience their customer service sucks donkey dick.

Just posted about my experiences with Bathmate Hydromax 8. I had some decent results early on that I thought would hold in the length department and they just completely faded. Nothing ever stuck in terms of length gains. I did gain a little bit more girth that seems to be here to stay, but I wasn’t going for girth.

I’ve given up unfortunately on the bathmate. I’m going to go down a different route. I would be skeptical before ever recommending the product to anyone.

I feel like, specific to pumping, the gauge thing is what gets beat to death on here. I had no idea they paid that high a commission to sites that sold their pump. I should probably build one of those sites. I kid, but I’ve never had any problem with Bathmate, but maybe because I’ve never had much of a problem with my pump. Either of them. I know they are unjustifiably expensive. But on the other hand, I got a half inch in girth in just a year with my first BM pump. I would likely have payed twice that if I had known I would get such a positive return on my money. I know not everyone will see those same results, but for myself, it was money well spent.

I gave jelqing a try, and seemed to have the opposite experience. That’s what got me curious about the Bathmate. It seemed that a pump could give a more uniform “stretch” (expansion, really).

I did get a Bathmate, and tried it out last night. I’m happy with the results. I’ll see about posting a new thread, and perhaps journal the experience.

Thanks for the comments.

I occasionally incorporate an extreme Bathmate pumping into my routine. I do this dry.. Aka not in the shower. I bought a Vacu-Vin which you can acquire at most wine shops. Its for pumping the air out of wine you opened to make it last longer. It has a T-handled plastic hand pump and rubber valve adapter. Not for use with newbies. Since my bathmate doesn’t have a gauge I have no idea what the vacuum is. I’m going to assume the vacuum is somewhere between 10-15 inches mercury. I only do these in short intervals.. 30 seconds each.. In order to avoid edema
