Questions from a newbie.

Hi, I’ve been doing this for a little while now and I have some questions.
Do know, that I’ve spent a lot of time using the advanced search feature.
I did read not to start a bunch of pointless threads and I hope to start this one as a way for other newbies to not have to start threads for these same questions.

1. I read that it’s important not to orgasm while jelqing. I was wondering, why is this?
1b. Also, I’ve been having an orgasm just after I finish the jelqs, is this a bad thing?

2. I’d like to increase my flaccid length quicker than what it’s going. I was wondering if there were any other stretches aside from the ones in the on site manual.

3. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into getting or, more likely, making a penis extender or stretcher. I was just wondering what the best one would be to make, or if I should just go ahead and buy one.

4. I’ve been doing the newbie routine for around 4 weeks now. I’m almost at the end and I was just wondering if anyone had a link to the “standard routine.” I read about it somewhere.

Thanks so very much for all of your help. :)

Also, I’m sorry the vets if I’m wasting your time with dumb questions. D:

1. Orgasm while jelqing means that your erection level is likely too high to be properly stressing the tissue in your penis. You need to be a lower erection level - <80% - to get proper jelqing results.
1b. Most don’t recommend it, as an orgasm after jelqing will result in a natural loss of erection. This will keep your penis from reaping the benefits of the blood engorgement that jelqing offers.

2. Stretching is the best way. An ADS - All Day Stretcher - is the best way to keep working on that if regular stretches aren’t working for you. Scour the forum on how to make one.

3. See above.

4. Use your search function and that should get you to the “standard routine”.

Thanks very much :)

One more thing on the erection level and orgasm questions; you want to train yourself to separate PE and jelqing from being a sexual experience. It can be done, whether by thinking of something completely non-sexual while doing it or focusing on breathing, etc. If jelqing and PE become like masturbation, then you’re missing the point. It should be done slowly and with intensity, to the point where it is kinda like working out in that it “hurts” but in a good way. Make sense?

And don’t focusing on the “hurting”…that was just intended to get across the mentality you need, not necessarily the physical sensation. You don’t want to hurt yourself or you’ve done TOO much!

Newbie Routine = Standard Routine.

Stay away from devices until you’ve done at least three months of newbie. Too easy to hurt yourself with devices when you are a newbie. Hands only. Some guys never use devices, they get all the gains they want with hands.

PE Mottos:

PE is a marathon not a sprint.” (So do not try to “Hurry” - that is how people hurt themselves)

“If it hurts, DON’T DO IT”

If there is anything called ‘standard routine’ I’ve missed. Anyway the newbie routine can be used as long as it gives gains, just augmenting duration, intensity and frequency. Some of the biggest gainers have just used manuals - ‘newbie routine’ is probably misleading, unfortunately.

Edit: just seen’ Sta’ post.

Haha I getcha :P I used to work out everyday, so no worries. I know what you meant.

Ok. I just saw it and it was only a little different from the newbie routine anyway. But, I wanted to know so that I won’t have to do the newbie routine until it’s up to a thousand jelqs and an hour of stretches ya know? :P

So if you know of a good routine that’s just a little more intense with less, “reps” that’d help a lot too. :D

Well, has the newbie routine given you any results?

A little more intense? For jelqs, you can regulate intensity easily, just tightening the grip, or switching to dry jelqs, or again adding manual clamping. For stretches, fulcrum stretcehs are intense enough I think.

It has very much so! For now anyway. I’m just almost at the end is all.

Hmmm ok. Thanks very much. But one more thing I would like to know is what a good amount would be to do. Like, at the end of the newbie routine I’ll be at 700. Should I stay there, or keep going up?

End?..The end should only be when it stops working…In my opinion.

If you are currently gaining doing what you are doing then don’t change a thing. If and when it stops delivering the goods then start upping your stretching and jelqing.

Think back over the last few months. If the speed of your gains has tapered then perhaps you should back off to the amount of PE you were doing in your sweet spot.
