Newbie routine for 3.5 months and nothing.

Newbie routine for 3.5 months and nothing.

I have been doing the Newbie Routine for around 3.5 months and have earned no gains. I have read around the forum and it looks like a lot of PEer’s do not get many physical gains from the newbie routine so I am not disappointed. I will give the Routine some credit though. My EQ is top notch, and it hurts to get hard sometimes. My vascularity is much better and I think am now prepared to move onto more advanced routines. I am really inspired by Alivegeta’s progress, and I think I am going to mimic his routine. Does anyone have any advice that would better suit/help me for the routine? Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried simply upping the intensity or time of your routine? You can stay with the good structure of the newbie routine and just tweak those elements. The good thing about that is you are not completely starting over. If you do that, just make note of what’s going on.

Say for example you up the intensity for a week. If you notice some good pi’s like better hang, temporary gains etc, you can stay doing that until it stops or slows. Then repeat.

Further, if you do that and get bad pi’s, you’ve found out what is too much. Then back off and lower intensity. The same goes for adding time. My Advice is to increase the intensity and lower the time. Then slowly increase the time until you’ve found your threshold. Then back off slightly.

Or you can make up your own routine or follow someone else’s. Just remember, you need to do this gradually Whichever route you decide to go.

Hi. Can you list your routine? Back at my newbie routine, only gained on the last 2 months. First 3-4 months was all about EQ (increased) and exercise movement and consistency (how to do it). Gained after change 1 OFF / 1 ON to 1 OFF / 2 ON.

Start 6.8” x 4.7” (4.9" BEG)

Latest 8.2” x 5.1” (5.3" BEG)

I started the newbie routine doing 50 jelqs per session, and have worked it up to any where between 200-300 (depending on what feels right to me) over the course of the 3.5 months. I do two days on and one day off, with two sessions a day during the ‘on days”. I typically jelq until erection level gets too high, then I stop and resume once erection level comes back down. I use a cup of warm water for a warm up and warm down. Me jelq stroke lasts about 4 seconds and I never go past the head. I have never experienced anything but positive PIs, and like I said EQ is phenomenal now. Flaccid size has increased some too. Thanks for reminding me not to over do it, I feel like it could be easy to hurt oneself when not seeing gains.

So you think I could still gain if I stick with it Useless? I have been consistent, and the notch on the ruler has not budged. I just plan on adding stretches in addition to the jelqing that I already do. I don’t think the stretches would do me any bad would they?

Okay my apologies, I guess I haven’t been following the newbie routine to a tee. The newbie routine I was following was purely jelqing, but the official newbie routine does include stretches and kegels. So I guess I should have said that I have been jelqing for 3.5 months and have gained nothing. Sorry for wasting your time.

I see. At my point of view, two session of PE at 2 ON / 1 OFF looks overdoing (for newcomers). Let’s wait for vets, they are more reliable to print routine ajustments for you.

But I think the best for you is to stick at one session per day, 2 ON / 1 OFF and add stretches (ON days).

/e: Kegel is a must. For newbies, I think is best to kegel at the end of the sessions or during the day.

The good thing is you are now a bit conditioned to toy around with less or more rest days and maybe more advanced exercises.

If you have good EQ then you can step up your time and/or Intensity.
In theory you could step up intensity slowly until you notice an impact to your EQ.
The gain zone is probably somewhere below the hit on EQ(meaning you then adjust to: doing less then what hit your EQ)

You might also check oout the PI thread linked in my sig to have an instrument to find out when you are in the gain zone.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now I know not to be disheartened if I don’t see gains in the first few months!
