Newbie starting off PE - Priority on girth

Newbie starting off PE - Priority on girth

Hi everyone. I stumbled across this website rather recently, and this is my first post here.

I’m Indian, 5’8” (little on the shorter side, I must admit) and have a penis which I feel is also on the smaller side. I’ve never had any complaints before, but recently, I stumbled upon some forums which indicated that the average size is 6”Lx5”G. I’m 6.1”Lx4.2”G, and this is 40% lesser in volume than the average. I’m currently single, and this news instantly shot my self confidence through the head when I started browsing all kinds of websites until I stumbled upon this one. Seeing some posts of the other members gave me enough confidence to register here and start off my PE program.

I’m starting off with the newbie routine, and my primary aim is to increase girth to 5” and get on par with the average. On the longer term, my next milestone is to grow to 7”X6”. I’m keeping my goals modest for now (I think?)

Reaching out to the experience of some of the senior members here, can anyone indicate what would be the ideal time-line for the 2 milestones?

Starting off on PE today. Current stats, BPEL:6.1”, Mid-shaft girth (practically uniform) : 4.2”. Will post photos to confirm whether I’m measuring correctly.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I agree that the average is about 6”Lx5”G.

I read somewhere that Indians have the world’s smallest national average in penis size. Probably explains why your girth is surprisingly small.

I agree that you should start off with the newbie routine. You want to learn how to do the PE exercises and make sure you doing them correctly which is the safest way to go. PE is not a race, start off easy and increase the intensity slowly, once you start gaining stick with that PE routine/intensity until you think your gains have stopped, then you can take a deconditioning break and/or increase the intensity once again.ect

I also agree with your goals. PE takes a lot of time and effort, could take years to reach your goals. If your an easy gainer, it could take at least one to two years to reach your goals. Good luck on PE.

Tip: Read and read before you jump into it.

Your length goal is very doable. But gaining 1.8” of girth would be very extraordinary. The statistical average gain for people who stay consistent for about a year or two with their PE is about 1 inch length and 0.5 inch girth. Some people gain much more and some much less. But that’s a general idea of what to expect. Your length goal of +0.9” could happen as fast as 6 months if you are lucky, or as slow as several years if you’re a hard-gainer, but it is very reachable if you stick with it. Your girth goal of 6” would take a long time, several years at the low end. 5 inches girth would be a more realistic first goal, and would probably take at least a year, probably more like 2+ years.

I started at 5.5” x 4.1” so I know how you feel about the girth. But Obie is right, just start with the newbie routine and see what happens for a few months before doing any girth-specific work. You might respond well to the newbie routine and gain girth straight from the beginning with just stretching and jelqing. I began the newbie routine about 4 months ago, and I mostly gained length from it, and I was getting impatient to gain some girth. Now finally I have begun gaining girth from just the newbie routine. So start with that and be patient. If nothing is happening for your girth after several months, then look into the girth specific exercises.

+1 on the recommendation to read, read, read. And another thing, especially in the beginning, start gentle and avoid injury. Listen to your dick, and take additional rest days as needed.

I would do both. There is nothing lovelier than a thick cock but a long thick cock and nothing lovelier than a long cock than a long thick cock. So do both and have a cock that all women and all but the super endowed men will envy with slobber running down their chins.

Thanks for your advice guys, but I have stopped PE after my very first session last Sunday.

I’m not sure what I did wrong, but the next morning I woke up without morning wood. That day, I could barely even muster an erection when I tried. This freaked me out a little and I completely left my dick alone for the past week, without trying anything.

Yesterday, I tried and managed to get an erection, but it would go down really fast, and it was not as durable as earlier. I used to be able to have a towel supporting hard-on for at least a couple of minutes earlier, but now that doesn’t seem to be happening.

Not sure what happened, whether I was too rough on the first day or not, but I’m a little worried at my erection quality.

Any advice will help. I’m not concerned with enlargement anymore, only with regaining the erection that I had.

I’m not sure if it’s even possible to get such an injury in one session.. The only chance is to forcely overdo it, but I think you didn’t so in my opinion it happens in your head ;)

Do a search on “venous leakage”. I’m not saying that’s what you have, but you should be aware of it as a possibility. You might find some advice from people who had a similar experience.

Before 5.5" x 4.1" ///////// Now 7.4" x 4.9"

I read up on “venous leakage” and it sounds scary. I don’t know whether that’s what I have, but I sure hope its not!
I also read on some other pages of 2 other factors: that this would go away with time if its nerve damage from rough jelqing; or that its psychosomatic and all in my head as Rechner suggested. The symptoms are all the same - hard to get a proper erection, goes down very fast and most noticeably, no morning wood!

I however don’t think its psychosomatic, as I did have a mild pain on the upper side of the penis, on the left side, just below the glans. This pain has since reduced, but I do feel a wave of mild pain coming across sometimes.

I’m really clueless what this really is. I’m gonna leave it alone for a month or 2 and hope and pray that its just some damage that can be healed.

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it. In the meantime, if there’s anything you think I should or shouldn’t do, I’m all ears.

(Very worried member)

Hm, you didn’t mention that you feel pain, but calm down, I ensure you, that because you are able to get erection at all, even weak one, there is nothing serious to worry about, it would go by with the time.

Any serious injury will come with disasterous pain so I continue thinking, that this is still in your head ;)

Calm down, nothing to worry about, just slow a lil’

Did you change something in your lifestyle? (Lack of sleep, stressful day or smth. Like that) ?

There are a number of good urolgists who don’t even believe there is such a thing like ‘venous leakage’. But you know what? Start saying that PE can cause cancer, and you’ll see many people will start reporting cancer ‘cause PE. Don’t put in the mind of people strange ideas, please. PE - as adviced on this forum - can’t cause impotence or any permanent injury, could just reveal a pre-existing illness and maybe help improving it.

Nothings really changed in my lifestyle, so I’m skeptical to attribute this to anything such as stress or lack of sleep.

I guess I’ll just leave it alone for now, stop thinking about it, and hope that one of these days, I wake up with morning wood.

In terms of your initial post, set a clear realistic target like 7x5 and feel free to dream of 7x6.

More importantly, all exercises and reps are guidelines and you really need to find the right technique and reps that work for you. In my case, I had the same EQ crash you are experiencing on two occasions when I tried to do some clamping. I took 2-3 weeks off and then was as good as new. Assuming you didn’t squeeze and yank your penis excessively, then you must be very sensitive to this training. When you re-start, start with lighter pressure and lower reps until you find a level that challenges you without serious negative PIs.

5/9/12: BPEL: 6.5", MEG 5" (goal BPEL: 7.25", MEG: 5.5")

3/5/13: BPEL: 6.875", MEG 5 5" (max goal BPEL: 7.5", MEG: 5.75")

Thanks for your advice, jd10021. In hindsight, I think I may have been a little hard on the little guy that time. That’s probably the reason why my penis was mildly hurting as well. I take heart from your experiences where you did recover EQ after sufficient resting. I’ve been off for a week now, although I kept trying to get a hard on all of last week. This week, I’ve left it alone, and will not even look at it the wrong way for another week or so. I hope the recovery period will not be too long in my case.

I also noticed that you gained a little more than half an inch in girth within a year, which is something on the lines of my target. Hope you can help me with some pointers from your routine, although that would be only after I recover. :)

Time and patience 6inch. Properly conditioning your penis is a real priority for everyone (and especially you). More is not better and there is another recently active thread that advocates a less strenuous routine (Is LESS more, or is MORE more?). I thought it was B.S. when I first started, but you REALLY must listen to your own body.

In case you’re curious about one potential future path for you: I was the opposite of you as a high number of reps and pressure seemed to work better for me. I had some newbie length gains but no girth gains during the conditioning period. I was naively concerned about growing length too fast without girth so I started focusing on girth only along the lines of: a few months of squeezes, then o-bends (My Girlfriend said those lovely words…) and then supra slammers.. My girth gains sprouted with the supra slammers but I really think the months of squeezes and o-bends were equally valuable in conditioning for girth. I am trying to add more stretching for a balanced approach to length and girth gains but I would personally really like to get the next 1/4" of girth rather than 1/4" of length. You don’t need to even think about those exercises for 3 months or more until you’re fully conditioned and any gains seem to have stopped Bottom line is that in 1 year I gained approximately 40% in volume and I would be thrilled to continue to gain another 40% each of the next two years. Good luck.
