No longer feeling fatigued from stretching or hanging

Been on and off for years now and I never seem to get that ache afterwards. I feel like I’ve plateaued at 7 inches erect bone pressed. Only place I get sore now is inner thighs. Could it be possible I’ve toughened up my ligs and tunica? I’m hanging at 10 pounds straight out, down and up. 30 to 45 min sessions. Manual stretches every night. I’ve taken long breaks of a few weeks and its still the same. Any advise how to break the plateau?

There’s a strain theory that I’ve been following which measures the diff between your preBPFSL and postBPFSL right after PE and the idea is that an effective workout consist of finishing at 2%, that there would’ve been a temporary lengthening of few mm past your original length. That usually happens with effective heating or additional blood flow. I’m not very good at keeping track of my strain rate either but I’m still feeling fatigued and Im still heating and massaging so I know I’m not yet plateau. If I were you, Id consider changing things up. If you haven’t introduced decon, I’d stop hanging and stretching for a week. Decon would put a shock to your system because it loses memory and it will feel like 10 lbs is heavy again. Id also don’t just leave it straight out hang. I’ll only put it on for a few min, remove and rehang for a total of 10 sets, so 3 min x 10 will give you 30 min. Add pumping to your routine or do fulcrum hangs with reduce weight in addition to straight out hang. By introducing new stimulus, it will break plateau. There’s no single plan a successful guy here did to keep consistent gain. Most I’d say either increased their load, change a technique or add a new exercise or device. So far, you’ve stretch and hanged, may I suggest you explore extending, clamping, jelqing and pumping. You’ve come this far, Im sure you’re simply looking for ideas.

A few weeks isn’t a long decon. Try going a few months. It’s counterintuitive I know but it works as pretty much all the vets on here will confirm

That a break for a month or two and start again with low weights and gradually work your way back up.

I just came back to hanging after over a year off and could feel a stretch at 2.5 lbs again , I was hanging 10 plus when I decided to take a long break.

do you do anything else than hanging? Sounds like you need to try something else and come back to hanging. I am not speaking from experience but from what others have noted when you hit a wall

Thank you all. My routine does include three sets of 10 minutes. I have a plug-in heating blanket I use for warm up.

I have gone 6-8 weeks without hanging. And the stretching at night before bed maybe two or three times a week is the norm. I misspoke , I don’t stretch every night. It’s not on my mind all the time. Nowhere near as committed as some of the guys on here.

I have finally hit my 7-in mark which I’m happy about. On a good day I can get bone pressed stretched flacid just short of seven and a half. That was a day to smile lol.

When I have taken a long break and I start hanging again 10lbs still feels the same. I have one tough little pecker LOL

Starting from around 5 in years ago I’m very grateful for the growth I have achieved. It definitely makes a difference in my confidence when my wifes eyes go wide when I bottom out LOL.
She doesn’t agree with my PE. She said I’m already too big so that’s not a conversation I have with her anymore.

I was jelqing for a while but my instinct said I should go for length first. Whatever I did along the way increased my EG anyhow .65 in.

I also do fulcrum hanging in many variations. It could be since I don’t hang everyday possibly I’m not fatiguing enough. For me it’s a very hard commitment of time considering I have to do it privately during the work week.

I’m wondering if you think a more committed schedule overtime it will be possible to make it to 8 in? In a perfect world I would like to cement at least 7 -1/2" NBP. I’m only currently at about 6-3/4" NBP. But damn the turkey neck I don’t like. Any ideas on that lol?

I’m not sure one needs to feel fatigue to get results, especially if you incorporate decon breaks and actively use heat during the hanging session. I’ve been getting good results recently from hanging like this and don’t really feel fatigue like I did years ago when i was hanging much heavier weights and trying to never miss a day.

If you are growing and don’t feel fatigue then I think that is actually a better situation.

So I guess the question is, based on tracking your data, is there a correlation between that feeling and results, and between the lack of that feeling and no results?

Do you see any signs of growth? I’m always curious if people actually gain after their plateaus and decons.
