Noob needs some advice

First off I’d like to say that this is a great forum, lots of mature people helping each other out.cool

Anyway, I was researching PE when I came across this forum a week ago. One of the first things I discovered was that the average size (especially girth) was much lower than I thought it was. This made me really happy by the way :) Specifically, I discovered that my girth was *way* above average, somewhere in the top 5 to 10 percent, which I was totally surprised by. My first plea for advice is this: Should I modify the newbie routine to try and emphasize length over girth? I’m thinking the answer to this will be “try out the newbie routine for a couple months” (since that’s the answer most noobs get), but I thought I’d put it out there anyway. I’m asking because first off, my girth is already pretty good, while my length isn’t. It seems reasonable to concentrate on my weakness. Second, I’ve already had experiences where I was too wide for girls. Mind you, they fell in love with it after the first or second time we had sex and they got used to it, but those first times were pretty *tight* lol It would do a lot for my ego to have girls screaming my dick is too big, but it would be bad if it becomes too painful and girls don’t enjoy the sex, which I’m worried might happen if I do the standard PE routines.

Overall, I wouldn’t mind increasing my girth by about .5 an inch or so (eventually), but I really want to try and get my NBPEL up from 6.25 to at least 7.5. I love having a wide penis, but I don’t want to end up with a penis that’s too wide for most girls.

As an addition, what is usually considered “too wide” by girls? I know it will vary by personal preference but I wanted an idea.

wow, starting out with 6.25 girth. How could you not know that is huge? I mean, you can’t even get your thumb and index finger around that thing!

If I were you, I’d just work on length. In fact 6.0 girth is almost to big, you want the women to be able to walk afterwards don’t you?

I knew I had good girth but not that I was like two standard deviations away from the mean lol The only erect penises I’ve ever seen besides my own were in porn, so I guess my thought of what was “average” was thrown off. Plus I heard there’s some sort of phenomenon that makes guys underestimate their penis size because they look at it from above at all times. I never really thought of having a big dick as girth anyway, it was almost always length, and I knew that around 6” wasn’t “hung”. Other reasons were that my flaccid size was always average at best compared to the “other guys” in the shower after football practice and that my best friend is a total size queen (she only has sex with HUGE guys, mostly Purdue University football players haha). When she says some of the guys she has been with were 8 inches long and “almost as wide as a coke can”, I felt smaller. Then again, these guys are 6’4 260 lb linebackers at a Big Ten football program, so they have the genes for size. Finally, I’m about 6’1 and 225 pounds, so it looks smaller proportionally than a guy who’s 5’8 165 or something. Still, just reading the average statistics has boosted my confidence around girls, which I’ve noticed while trying to flirt and stuff (in just one week!)

Back when I thought all PE was BS, I thought the only way I could get my dick bigger was to lose weight. That was one of the reasons I went on a diet/exercise plan (which has worked very well in the last year). I actually measured my dick around the time I started the diet, and I’ve gained between .25 and .5 nbpel just from the weight loss.

Even though you are girthy I would still say, “try out the newbie routine for a couple months.” Jelqing, especially at first, is just as much about circulatory health as it as about girth.

By the way, I decided to remeasure all of my stats last night to make sure I get a very accurate base measurement and lowered my mid from 6 to 5.75 and my base from 6.25 to 6. They’re more like 5.9 and 6.1 but I’ll just round down. Besides it’ll make the gains look better :P

Also, if you’re just starting NPE then you may experience a newbie ‘pop’ in the first month or three. Enjoy it.

I’d say go with the newbie routine, as well, but I’d recommend a slight modification. Try to avoid jelqing with a strong or even semi-strong erection. Focus the majority of your efforts on stretching. Do light jelqing for general conditioning and health, but don’t go nuts with it.

Also, keep careful measurements not only of your BPEL but also of your BPFSL. If you find your BPFSL growing but your BPEL not, you may want to slightly increase the intensity of your jelqs.
