Not Feeling Inverted V A-Stretches

So I’ve been doing standard V-Stretches for a couple of weeks now, but I’ve been having trouble with grip; so I’ve decided to switch to doing Inverted V A-Stretches.

After doing sets of V-Stretches for several minutes I would really feel it in my tunica/septum (not sure which), but I don’t feel anything near the same with the Inverted V A-Stretches. Is this because I’m doing them wrong or perhaps because the pivot point is wider? I’m a kind of big guy so naturally, my wrists are wider.

I do them following the video guides here on the site.
