Not Getting Pressure In My LA Pump

Not Getting Pressure In My LA Pump

I took a weeklong break from pumping after I got a new LA pump. After I started back again, I’m not getting the pressure to stay in the pump when I pump it up. It doesn’t seem like there’s a leak anywhere, it just doesn’t seem like I’m getting a good seal. When I first started using the LA pump I would get a good seal and pump it up to 5 and it would pretty much stay there after I got a good seal.

I got a 2 inch tube, but maybe I should’ve gotten a 1.75? I may have slightly overestimated my girth. Does having a smaller tube, I hope you get a better seal?

I am assuming yours has a quick disconnect fitting on the cylinder.

Four most common places for leaks:

1) on the pump the vacuum release lever/piston/button can get stuck slightly open. Jiggle or compress the piston a few times.
2) quick disconnect connection of the hose and cylinder can have a poor connection. Disconnect then reconnect it. Check for obstruction. If still leaking then hold the hose side fitting and press it firmly into the cylinder and hold it in place while pumping. Release when get to target vacuum level.
3) check the tightness of the female fitting into the cylinder. Should be finger tight then a little more. Too tight can break or strip plastic threads. Check the o ring on the female fitting where it screws into the cylinder. Look for any section that is deformed or poking out. If so it probably needs to be replaced.
4) most likely: check the seal of the cylinder to your pubic area for obstructions like pubic hair, cloth or other items which could get stuck between skin and tube. Trim pubes if needed. Dry skin can also cause a poor seal. Lube up generously.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

This is great, thanks!

I went through this list, took some of the advice and sure enough it works again. Thanks.
