Phallosan Forte Tension Frustration

I’ve been wearing the phallosan forte for 9 days, and so far there’s a lot to like. I’m hopeful it’ll show gains over the long period. However, one of the things getting me down is how difficult it is to keep the tension consistent.

I set the level to high green, put my clothes on, then go about my day. Periodically when I peek in my jeans to check, the tension is at zero. No green showing. If I pull my jeans down, it’ll bounce back to high green but the way your clothes move and shift during the day will seem to release the tension. I find myself constantly checking throughout my day, which is annoying. But maybe it’s inconsequential.

To those who’ve used the Phallosan Forte for a long time, is this something you noticed? Did you see gains anyway?

Yes its normal and I gained anyway. I just started going for length again so ive been wearing mine since around Christmas. I sleep in it sometimes and ive never had a problem safety wise or discomfort. I gained 1/4” in about 500 hours but I lost it because I stopped wearing it and started clamping . I hadn’t cemented my gains yet. I figure it’s good for a quarter to a half inch in 500-1000 hours. Maybe more if someone is new.

We simply discourage any and all PE while asleep. The risk isn’t worth any reward.

I was very nervous about it at first but I’m not a very sound sleeper and I have sleep apnea so I don’t stay still very long before I’m awake. But I see what you mean and for most people it’s probably a bad idea. I would just never get many hours a day in unless I wore it when I’m sleeping.

How would you feel if you woke and and your penis is purple and the feeling never returns? Worth the the risk?

In all fairness the phallosan people say it’s fine to sleep in. If you can wear it 12 hours without losing circulation, a night’s sleep should be fine. I’m not encouraging doing so, as you are right that it’s dangerous since by the time you realize your dick is black and blue it’s too late. I’m just saying the makers of the device have approved using it while asleep. I wouldn’t try solely because my wife tends to grab my penis when it’s within reach, so I would always have to wait until she’s fast asleep and it’s just a hassle.

I used to wear it while asleep, never had an issue other than waking a few times because the ring caused pain in my shaft. It would immediately ease when removing it, and would quickly subside. This happened when awake too and the tension is in the red for too long. I don’t think there is much issue with sleeping in it to be honest, it doesn’t cut off circulation or anything. However it is generally disadvised to do any PE while sleeping because you cannot actvely monitor a situation. You only get one dick.

After accumulating 500 hours now, only flaccid improvements to show for it which may, and probably are, temporary. Even now, I check the tension every 15 - 20 minutes.

As for having no tension sometimes, i had this and solved it simply by rotating the belt around my waist. No need to remove it, just grab the elastic belt and twist the entire thing in the opposite direction to wherever your penis is pointing at the time.

I go a little into the red so it stays well into the green when my pants are on. My only issue is when I walk a lot, the tension changes with every step.

Same here, for me this is unavoidable.

I’d be scared to try, since my glans starts to turn purple every now and then. Wouldn’t want to wake up black and blue. I value my penis far too much.

When I did it, i had very little experience with the PF and i had no problems. As i said and you may have noticed yourself, it doesn’t cut off any circulation. Still, it is generally wise not to PE while sleeping. Also, its not so comfy to remain still and on your back the entire night in one position. We who use the PF are all aware how easy it is to change the tension of this thing!

It may not cut off circulation entirely, but it does inhibit it. I can feel my glans get cold and it does turn purple sometimes, which is when I usually unharness and give myself wood before continuing.

You might be right, mine does go a little cold too, although there is no difference in coldness for after 3 hours or after 8 hours, even if kept on the entire time. For this reason, I think its okay. But you did raise a good point; though still, I dont quite see how it is reducing the bloodflow, maybe the pressure on the ridge of the glans causes some minor constriction, perhaps?

The first extender I got said if the glans turns purple it’s not getting enough blood and to cease stretching until blood flow is returned, so that’s my basis. I don’t know, but my glans is almost too big for the large bell and that probably doesn’t help the issue, so maybe the XL bell on the website is worth a look. I use the medium sleeves because the large always gets an air bubble, which always pops the vacuum seal.
