Guys I was reading about PI on the site, and I have some doubts.

What is nite and morn wood??

Discoloration is a sign of negative PI?? I’ve seen I lot of guys here that have discoloration and still have gains.

I am a newbie and I my real doubt is just one “I AM DOING RIGHT THIS SHIT?”

I hope so.

PI is 3.1415926535 as accurately as I can recall. Morning wood is that hard-on that you wake up with, in the morning when you have to piss like a Russian race horse. My approach to PE is read everything, try everything and let my dick tell me what is right.

You actually get hard ons several times during the night as you go through several sleep/dream cycles with erections occurring I believe during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep.

I believe in Physiological Indicators to help get gains.

Even before I started PE, I wouldn’t always get morning wood maybe 3-4 times a week. I believe I have now found a good routine for me that I do every single day. I had morning wood every day since I started this routine. And I am sure growth will come soon.

I thought you meant Magnum PI.

Don’t worry about night woods. The time when I was gaining the most was when I wasn’t getting morning wood. When my gains slowed down, my woods increased.

It’s just to make sure your not overdoing it. Discoloration is okay, but that means you have to leave time for repairing. Don’t overdo anything, or do anything too hard, and I guarantee that you are doing it right.

If you wake up with a boner in the morning, that’s morning wood. Chances are if you have morning wood you also get nite wood.

Every healthy male gets night wood, even the ones who are physiologically impotent. These occur during REM-sleep.

The claim for morning wood is doubtful, you have to wake up from REM-sleep to get them. Just look if all PI are OK and you can drop this one. I know I did :) .

To elaborate on the REM sleep, the body ends up directing more blood flow the the genitals in both men and women. Since men obviously are easier to “notice” when they’re aroused, you often times hear more about morning wood than morning wetness. I wouldn’t worry too much about this stuff. If you get it you get it, if you don’t you don’t. I’d rather not get MW, and get a full nights sleep, not REM interruptions.

It’s a little deeper than that.
Each one of these sleep stages is very important, more than just getting a woody.
It is not a ”interruption” from the research I have done.

I will explain one from a book I have read regarding REM sleep stage.

” During REM, we actively rearrange our image/thought/emotional balances, thus stabilizing our new memories.
We experience small, variable-speed brain waves, rapid eye movements like those of eye-open wakefulness, and no muscle tension.
We have almost all dreams during REM sleep.
This stage is associated with psychological well-being and we feel refreshed upon awakening.”

This is just a little of the things I have read about REM sleep in particular, but has you can see, there is more to it.

Physiological Indicators (PIs) are just that, physical indicators that your body gives you to help interpret whether you are overdoing it or getting it right.

The only absolute indicators are growth (good) or shrinkage (bad)…all others are subject to interpretation.

Its something that almost everyone who has made gains has noticed, certain physical responses that let them know they overdid it, got it right or didn’t do enough. The article is just to shorten the learning curve to help you read your own PIs.

Whether you have all, some or none of the indicators ISN’T the point, its reading where you are to understand when you move in a good direction or a bad one.
