The human perception is a strange thing. (Usually ugly looking wide angle shots.) Many times, I have noticed that the girl isn’t really looking at the dick, instead she’s looking at the guy’s hips, or sort behind him. I think they are told to do this by the photographer, because looking in that more “sideways” direction is supposed to make us think that she’s not as far in the background as she is. But at least my brain doesn’t buy it at all, it just looks like she’s looking at something else. It’s a bit of a theory I guess, but I’ve seen this a bunch of times.

That’s not theory. It is a trick commonly used by stars like Ramon with her at eye level. It’s also usually the thumbnail for a video.
