Can anyone give advice on how to improve performance before sex. I.e. Does a short-time jelq say20-30min before sex improve erection and hardness or on the other hand reduce sensitivity and arousal. Also, how about diet or drinks. I hear it is better to have an empty stomach or not have a had a big meal for a while (fat, digestion= reduce testosterone and less circulation in body as used for digestion).

Also, how about watching porn and wanking but no orgasm for a good while before sex? Improve horniness or reduces arousal and strength for the real deal?

Any other tips you guys can share?

It depends on what your weak and strong points are.

If you cum too quickly, thats one thing. If you have difficulty cumming…thats another.

If you have neither of those problems, but just aren’t good at it yet…another.

Ermm well. I can hold off cumming as long as I want. In fact with a condom it takes a lot of mental focus to cum inside. I’d like to be more sensitive and cum more easily. I sometimes wonder if the problem is my girth, 5” thick bottom half to 4.5ish at top? I’m 7” long. I often find it harder to keep hard when girl is on top and prefer other positions. But I think that is because I like to take control.

Obviously when with a girl I like and connected to it isnt a problem to be horny aroused and hard. Though I’m not ATM, obviously this isn’t ideal but it’s better than nothing.

For a spell I overdone PE and masturbation and often never got as hard and as high an erection as used to but have decreased both and it’s improving.

BUT tbh I’m just mainly interested in scientific fact or experience in: I.e.

1) does jelqing improve hardness of erection pre-sex? Obviously long term it does and improves circulation. Though overdone could lead to ED, right?

2) Any specific foods or best to fast before sex?

3) I know from experience intense exercise increases horniness and blood flow so is good before sex.

Hey I noticed in your sig. Thread about EQ you recommend 2-3 weeks of for a BEAT to SHIT DICK. I think I need to do this. My dick needs a long term rest. Does this include no ejaculation. In the last 8 years I think I have only ever gone once or twice longer than a week without masturbating/PE/sex. I have barley had morning wood the last few years or night time boners and am only 24. Only after a few days of no touching do I get rock hard erections in night and morning wood.

However, this will sound a bit weird maybe but I cannot go more than 3 days without playing with my dick and seeing it erect. And after about 4 days without cumming I am a raging bull. Too much PE will decrease EQ and the cure is a layoff and a more reasonable routine.

Too much jerking off and porn can also interfere with EQ, the answer is at least do LESS! If you find it too hard of a habit to break, then set a timer and give yourself a shorter period of time, say 15 minutes, then stop. With time and slowly cutting it down, you will either be in a place you are happy or close enough to actually cut it out completely. Very much like weaning yourself off a drug.

Be aware though that it sounds like you are using it to medicate yourself for anxiety and depression. Learn to face the problems that are stressing you out, rather than let them just loom over you. Also, try to develop an alternate method of handling stress…like go for a jog rather than porn.

The problem with using porn like you are, is you don’t grow. Its very much like a person with a drug problem, except that you use your brain to produce the drug.

If you dial in your PE, and get away from excessive porn and jerking off, you will perform like a champ.

Weird I’m the opposite, keeping my girl on top helps me keep erection much better. When I have sex and I last longer than 30-45 min I may go a little softer because I like to go crazy and my dick probably goes under a lot of stress/sometimes bending (worth it :D ).

Okay my personal opinion is that you give up porn, or at least everything but soft core porn. It did wonders for me, but it can be hard to stick to. I remember last summer I was away for 2-3 weeks with my family and I had no time to jerk off at all (very few showers and limited water). When I came back home my erections were better than they had been in months and I was popping boners like I was in 6th grade. Also, my erections weren’t very good when I tried to masturbate without porn, how are yours without any porn? 2 weeks of no porn at all cold turkey, and I saw a big difference, so it might be something you might want to try at least.

It’s unfortunately true mate. Porn has become my drug to cope with life. In the last few weeks I have not watched any at all and am finding it easier to not need but I still have a habit of playing with my dick all the time and having some withdrawal problems. My problem in life is too much free time and loneliness and what else is there to do when alone if you don;t take drugs. Anyway, this is a PE forum so more to the point.I think I can use PE to help with erection and masturbation problems. It has been shown greater gains have come with less masturbation and ejaculation, this is my motivation. I only want to touch my dick for PE and during sex or once a week masturbation. But another problem I have is I keep very fit and eat healthy, don’t drink much so am always horny!!

One main question when you say shorten time and too take 2-3 week lay off does this include ejaculation? Would it be better to not ejaculate the whole 3 weeks or not make much difference if I done it once per week?

I couldn’t masturbate to full erection without porn but after a couple of weeks decreasing the porn I now can get hard easier using only my mind, which is one good thing so far. But another problem or maybe not is that I’m actually a walking hardon (despite lack of morning and nite wood). I get turned on by loads of girls whereas when watching porn all the time it became obsessive, only absolute stunners could satisfy me and I became very choosey which girls to even wank over lol.

I don’t think the ejaculation for release is too much of a problem, its the porn. You can ejaculate a few times a week for sanity sake, it won’t harm your decon break at all.

My suggestion to you, to help get your life back on track and help heal your brain (a lot of porn totally throws the chemistry off), go look around in your town for people in real need that would benefit from your help. Hospitals, you can volunteer to visit the sick, old folks that are shut ins, you could visit or bring them food, kids who need a big brother…etc.

The trick is to find something that means something to YOU, touches you. THEN, do it with love,or don’t bother. Lets say its old folks, well, you can look at them like your own grandma or granddad. How would you want someone to treat YOUR grandma if she was alone and needed help? With that attitude SERVE somewhere where it is really needed, and do it with love.

Even one or two hours a week will heal you quicker than anything else you can try. As you begin to feel the peace that comes from helping out of love, your anxiety will decrease and you won’t need to produce your own prozac (endorphins) by pulling Willy.

Yeah I hear what your saying mate. BUT a main problem was I had been unemployed for a long-time. I’m now working full time and for the last few months have been exercising a lot (weights, cardio) and eating a healthy diet (including some supps to fix brain chemicals messed up by porn- lecithin and herbal stuff). I’m starting to feel a lot better already, which is how I believe I have managed to avoid porn, plus less free-time and being too tired after work. SO, things are looking up already (no pun intended) now just got to get my next best friend up more and more and a couple inches more. :-) Thanks for advice though.

Man, going 3 days without rubbing one out sounds like masochism to me. I gotta go at least once a day unless I get really down and out. Biofeedback is great in this respect, your unit is going to tell you if you’re overdoing it. I pay attention, it’s the reason I don’t always get to 200 strokes when jelqing, but I have no issues with firmness at all. If anything I get desensitized and it makes rubbing one out harder, but that’s typically on day 2 of the newb routine, so on day 3 I might not touch it and then it’s back to good after a days break.

Being a big time hornball who’s PE’ing can be very demanding on the unit.

I would imagine a newb routine performed 1-2 hours before sex could really make it great. You’d probably still be a bit engorged and stretched, yet you’ve taken enough time off to let the unit recover some for performance. You’ll probably be more turned on by the fact that it still feels engorged to you, so you’ll think it’s bigger, thinking she’s going to be like “wow!” and then that thought alone will get you harder.

That could just be me though.

I think jerking off three times a week is healthy. It keeps the prostate clean. After about a week going without some kind of sexual stimulation testosterone levels drop off.

Porn is bad it desensitizes the brain.

A lighter PE schedule less taxing and a lighter grip after a break is the key. Refraining from masturbation entirely is not good just back off of it a bit so your dick can regroup.

However, I know porn is NOW bad for me at this time. Years, ago it wouldn’t matter as access to porn and extremeities of it were rare, so I wouldn’t have had the chance to build this addiction.
