Proper IR Lamps for Warm up / downs

I am planning to use IR Lamps along to warm up and down (and of course during the PE session).

I also plan to get the Philips InfraCare HP 3621. Anyone using that currently?

I’m using the same one myself. It has a big front panel that makes it easy to heat up the whole shaft.

Is the IR lamp alone efficient?

Have you gain in size since you started using the IR lamp?

I use a Philips IR Lamp as well, though it looks like it came straight out of the seventies it warms everything up nicely :D

Is it beneficial too use it during the entire PE session?

I only use it for the warming up/down.
