Guys asked here if it is okay to masturbate during PE. Others have asked if it will cause any physical problems to masturbate during PE. The general consensus of the veterans seems to be that it doesn’t make any difference.

However, I would like to offer a different slant on this opinion. To answer the question of ‘Is it okay to masturbate during PE?’ . first one should answer why you are engaged in PE. If you answer that you are in PE to get a larger and thicker penis then it probably doesn’t matter when you climax.

If you are into PE for the reasons that I am then you might want to abstain from masturbation doing your routine. The bonus of PE for me is that I can see a gain in the girth of my shaft. The main goals of my PE are first to develop harder erections. Second to control premature ejaculations.

If these two goals are also why you are in PE then I contend that you should not masturbate during your PE routine. Masturbation is a sexual act. If you want to control premature ejaculation you must not only condition your penis but also condition your mind that you have the control. If you can endure a half hour of soaking, stretching, lubricating and massaging your male organ without ejaculating then you will have come along way in getting the control you are seeking.

The quality of your erection will improve the longer you can maintain it. It is also know as edging or tantric masturbation. When you lube up for the wet jelq generally the penis will become fully erect. Many times when you first start in PE this could be the point of no return for those dealing with premature ejaculations. Once this sexual release is executed it is very hard to continued jelqing with the zeal you should have. So it is important not to dump your load at this critical time.

My advice is to take the sexual cognition out of PE if you are trying to control premature ejaculation and to improve erection quality. Do your PE routine without ejaculating. Warm down and get dressed. There should be a least an hour rest before your engage in sex or masturbate. PE exercises should be an avenue to better sex. PE should not be THE sex.

I’m a married man for almost 8 years, and like most guys have masturbated quite frequently. In the last 2 months or so I have totally abandoned masturbation while starting to PE. I now limit my ejaculations (with partner only) to 3-5 a week. This has helped tremendously with lasting longer during sex. I can “workout” now and control my erection.

I guess the point is the mind is very powerful, how long you can last, your erection strength, and other factors are purely psychological. Here’s a little proof: Have you ever had trouble getting or keeping an erection, or possibly prematurely ejaculating, in any situation with a woman… Happened to me in a threesome, I couldn’t get hard no matter what I did (embarassing I know!!). I was so worried about “performing” that I couldn’t !! This took a while to get over, I almost felt impotent for a week afterwards, but am pleased to say “it’s not an issue anymore”:)

I often masturbate during PE, but never (well, almost never) to the point of ejaculation. I find that this edging helps with engorgement. But I definitely hear you on the problems with busting during PE. In the few instances where I lost control and went too far, I pretty much had to end the session once I let loose.

We’ve talked about masturbating during PE, but what about masturbating directly after the end of a PE session (implying that you’ve followed and completed what you set out to do)? Is that counted in the same way as masturbating during PE, or is it different?

The reason I usually try to avoid masturbating for several hours after PE is because my dick stays nice and swollen during that period. I don’t know, but I at least feel like this extended engorgement time might facilitate gains. On the few occasions where I gave in and popped off, I tended to shrivel up more than I’d like afterwards — particularly if it was good, lol.

I also think that PE and masturbating should not be confused. Like Brianrex said, it seems more effective not to let go during PE. I also like the idea to accumulate for the real thing, maybe ‘spritzing’ all over her, making a mess of her hair and so on. She likes it too it seems, or she is just polite, who knows. Anyway, all that edging, kegeling, jelqing and stretching leaves a lot of pressure build up in the pipeline. For me it is physically painful after two to four days. Also, there is a problem that seems located in the brain. It almost boils over after each session, takes several hours to return to a manageable level. If she is not in the mood, there is no choice but to let go every third day or so. The main disadvantage with PE as I see it is the horniness that is always present. I hope I can get used to it very soon.

Shid!! I thought being horny all the time was the ADVANTAGE of PE. :D

I only masturbate 2-3 times a week when I am not gettting it on the regular. That along with jelquing 4 days a week helps maintain the blood flow and ejaculating helps with my stress and mental health levels.

i recommend you do PE instead of masturbating. only masturbate with your partner. if you are single then just do PE as well and use the energy that builds up from not cumming to get motivated in your life and go out and meet some interesting excting people!

Only masturbate on my rest days from PE. I like them to be separate!

I think that it’s good to separate PE training masturbation. When training I’m in a different state of mind from when I’m masturbating and also trying to achieve different things. When masturbating my hand action can become more ‘aggressive’ and hap-hazard. It’s not the controlled motion I use when I’m PE ing.

For me as a newbie I find that a bit of slight ‘encouragement’ - ie a few strokes - helps me to maintain an erection when I want it for kegels or something, however.

In sex or trying to ejaculate your trying to release semen for pleasure or procreation.

Penis exercising is different because your only creating a false erection by pushing blood around.

I get horny, but I stop myself while I’m training, then I masturbate afterwards if I wish.
