Pumping instead of jelquing???

Hey guys, I was just wondering and I’m sure it’s been brought up before but I was thinking, the purpose of jelquing is to expand the penis and fill it with blood. Isn’t that exactly what pumping does? Wouldn’t it make sense to just warm up, stretch, pump, then warm down instead of jelquing? Is one a substitute for the other? Just a thought…..

Pumping and jelking are a terrific combination. Pump, then jelk, then pump, then jelk, all in one session.

Jelking expands the penis only via the manners in which you jelk. Pumping expands it lengthwise, girthwise, all around.

That’s what I was thinking, it just seems that not too many people really give pumping much importance. Yet I always thought it was logical to do both and speed up gains…..I think I will incorporate both in the same session.

Quick question avocet8, which pump would you recommend? I figure I might as well get it right the first time instead of buying a mediocre one.

Read the stuff posted in the Pumpers’ Forum. Lots of recommendations are listed there. Avoid a cheapo model like the adult stores sell. Won’t last. Important, I think, to buy from a company which offers a pump with a pressure gauge and cylinders in different sizes. In pumping, one size does not fit all.

I incorporated pumping into my routine after the first 3-4 newbie months and I have found it to be an incredible benefit to my PE.

I do a 10 minute x 5-7 hg pump session at the end of my routine and would not trade it for anything.

The benefits that I have seen, that I believe are directly attributable to pumping are as follows:

Increased vascularity (Used to be completely smooth, now very veiny)
Night time and morning wood (Sometimes it gets so hard it hurts (in a good way))
Better flaccid hang (never turtle at all anymore)
Great girth gains (1/2 to 3/4 inch gain in just a few months)

I think moderate pumping is a great tool in the PE bag of tricks.

I have a kaplan pump and alot of the guys here use LA pumps. Do a search in the pumpers forum for more information and also read avocet8’s pumping 101 thread.

Toolguy, those are great girth gains, that’s exactly what I am looking for. Hopefully this will get me similar results. Thanks.

My base girth has really made a great improvement and mid-shaft is going great also. It doesn’t take much of a girth increase to notice a big difference. It will feel bigger in your hand.

The wife made a comment after I gained about a 1/4 inch of girth that it felt bigger. I had told her, initially, that I was doing exercises for “penile health benefits”. After gaining that initial 1/4 inch girth she made the comment “Are those exercises making your dick bigger?”
I said “Yes, I think they are”, to which she said “I can tell, it feels bigger when we have sex”.

It was a good day :)

I tend to donut very easily if I do more than a single pump session, so I only do 1 session of pumping, with self adhesive wrap over circ scar to prevent donut, in combination with manual stretching and jelqing.

My routine now is as follows (4 days a week):
5 minute warmup with rice sock
12-15 minutes of manual stretches (BTC, v-stretches, SO, etc.) under heat lamp
100 jelqs followed by an erect squeeze (3 sets of these, equaling 300 jelqs)
10 minute x 5-7 hg pump session
100 jelqs to finish
Total time for routine about 50-60 minutes

I have made good, steady progress so far. It is definitely not overnight success, for me, but a steady, slow increase over time. I have been pumping about 4-5 months now.

How much did you gain in length? I pump too so I wanted to know if it gave you any length.
