Pumping Low-pressure For Hours?

I can’t really find a thread on this. Wondering if it is safe/good for gains to pump to about 2 or 3 and leave it on for hours while I ‘work from home’?

I’m on blood thinners so going above a 5 or so ends up bruising a lot. The max I should do is about a 3 but doing that for 20 minutes doesn’t really do much.

Can anyone advise if it’s safe to pump for a couple of hours at a 2 or 3 while I’m at my desk? Is a long, low-pressure pump as beneficial as a nice, deep pump?

Once you start getting edema - the “donut” - it’s best to terminate the session unless you’re doing something specific, like foreskin restoration.

I start getting a donut at 45 minutes at 3”Hg. I get a slightly larger one at 5”; edema vs. vacuum isn’t a linear relationship.

At 2”Hg, I have trouble keeping a good seal. I run a bare tube against my skin; some tubes come with a silicone gasket, which you can also buy separately, which might help if you have the same problem.

For threads, look at the last 8 or 9 pages of my personal thread, where I stay on the pump for hours at a time on low pressure. That said, if you're new, don't do this: You have to work into it. Yes, 5 is good and 3 is better, if you can hold that.

I’m working up to it slowly. I think a long 3 is where I’ll put my focus, for a while.

I was pumping at 5 hg for twenty minutes, 6 days a week and made some decent gains. I then added a 45 minute session at 4 hg once a week and my gains significantly improved.


Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"
