Pumping Vs Jelqing

I’m sure this question HAS been asked before, but id like to know exactly what is difference in gains jelqing vs pumping will provide, when you pump, you bring blood in and stretch out the penis, the same as jelqing, and if you pump like I do, build it up, release it and build it up agian, then I don’t see any difference in the way this will affect your penis. Can someone please help me clerify this, because I’m sure that alot of people in the pumping forum will say there is NOT much of a difference at all. Thank you

I agree, jelqing is more efficient than pumping.

There seem to be plenty of pumpers who gain from pumping.

As far as I can tell, there is no info that corroborates that statement. None.

I’ve always did jelqing. I’ve heard of pumping well before jelqing, but decided against it due to the risk factors noted


Current measure ment 8-2-06 EL- 5.5, EG- 5.25, BPEL-6 7/6, BPFSL-7.25

Short term goal EL- 6.0, EG-5.5

Long term goals EL- 7 to 7.5, EG- 5.5 to 6.0

The combination of pumping with jelqing works best. You can pump for 10 minutes and jelq for 5 and keep repeating as your conditioning level allows.

I came up with the idea through reading polls we make on this forum. Polls show most gain from jelqing by far.

That’s hardly scientific as there could be numerous reasons why this is so.

For one, maybe initial gains are better with jelqing but overall gains better with pumping.

For another, was the group who participated in the poll monitored? Pure jelqing and jelqing alone versus exclusive pumping?

So far I have the impression that combining the two, as Gprent mentions, is gold. But whether one is ‘superior’ to the other I don’t know, and I doubt anyone does, hence I think generalizations like “jelqing is more efficient than pumping” should be avoided since we have no reliable data that confirms this statement.

Pumping and Jelqing at the same time? Hmmmmmmm never heard of that guess that’s why I’m here. What about pumping, jelqing and hanging? So many different programs kind of confusing.

“More efficient” implies greater results realized by a similar amount of work. I’ll tell you now, even though the real measure of work would be an apples to oranges comparison, jelqing is a hell of a lot of work compared to pumping. My favorite quote on the subject belongs to sparky91. However, I do think that jelqing provides the most reliable, healthy growth and it may be a key to unlocking growth through other exercises.

Pumping certainly has its place, but I wouldn’t start pumping until I had plenty of hours of jelqing under my belt.
