Question about possible venous leak

Hey guys,

So if you’re not familiar with my story.. I’ve had hardflaccid for 2 years now, but only started having very serious erection problems starting 8 months ago. During this time I had an injury where I felt an EXTREMELY sharp pain at the base of my shaft and my dorsal vein deflated to half it’s size. Has not returned since. Since then my eq has been pretty dismal.

I got an ultrasound done, with injection, back on march15th. The doctor read the results and said he saw no venous leak.

-The thing is my erections are at about 5-6 eq now with stimulation, can only maintain these while sitting down. I CANNOT get spontaneous ererctions while standing. Almost impossible. Just never happens anymore.

- When standing up after getting an erection sitting down, my erection dies off in 5-10 seconds.

-My glans does not fill up anywhere near used to it’s previous size.

-Has become incredibly apparent that I have lost a little length and girth and maybe glans size, possibly from having hardflaccid for 2 years..

So wouldn’t these be indicative of a medium-minor venous leak? Something that might not have shown up on the ultrasound? I have had lowish T readings, but had these 2 years ago and everything was fine. I actually had one recently that was twice the amount from two years ago and my eq is obviously worse now..

Thoughts/suggestions?

Try to get a few more doctor’s opinions if you’re not satisfied with the first one.

Venous leak is diagnosed by a cavernosogram…

Hey mate! First don’t give up! I m sure you will find a cure for your problem.. We are in the third millennium and new thing are to come to fix this kind of problems I hope! Second, what did you do to get the hard flaccid?

That does sound a lot like what I had. Only difference is that my erections went down immediately if I was lying down, not standing up. But either way my EQ was horrible, & the glans would not fill.

Can you manipulate your penis in anyway to keep an erection? I used to be able to by pressing on my superficial dorsal vein, which, like yours was also very thick and cord like. This allowed me to have practically normal erections.

For whatever reason, my venous leak did not show up on the doppler or cavernsogram test. Only when they injected dye directly into the superficial dorsal vein was I diagnosed as having a venous leak, so the tests aren’t definitive.

Have you fixed the venous leak?? How did you manage to do it?

I had surgery in early 2007. The leaking vein was both embolized with coils, & I think “tied off” as well. Over 4 years now, & the leak hasn’t reemerged. I was worried that the vein may branch off & start leaking again, but if anything my erections are better now than ever.

Yikes, surgery. I am scared shi*tless to have any kind of surgery on my buddy. Jeesus. I also have close to 60-70% numbness throughout my entire penis, mainly the glans. So I would be very scared if surgery might screw my nerves up even more. I am trying to keep hope that they will heal.

I will let my urologist know about your situation yataghan50. I am hoping to god I don’t have a venous leek as I am very scared about surgery. Are there any natural ways to cure venous leak?

How would I ask for/explain that test?

I’m not sure. I had a great doctor, & since my leaking vein was so thick & prominent I could easily identify it. I told him what I thought, he took it on board & decided to test the vein directly. I’m not sure if this was improvisation on his part of it it is a normal thing to do.
