Hey guys this is my first thread. I am a newbie who started back in March and have had pretty decent gains so far. My question is about stretching. Lately when I do my manual stretches I have felt a pull so deep that it feels as if I am tugging into my groin muscles in my legs. I usually get this kind of stretch when I do JAI stretches and V-stretches. What I am mainly concerned with is the question of is this a good thing or a bad thing. I am hoping this is a phenomenal stretch, but I hope it is not a dangerous stretch. Anyone who knows about this I would greatly appreciate your impute.

I looked for this info, but haven’t come across talk of pulling in your groin muscles.

The rate of over-do is personal, So be careful with these styles of stretches you should increase flaccid length.
Are you warming up b before you stretch? This makes your penis more pliable.

Yes I am warming up, pretty extensively actually. And actually I have increased my flaccid length a bit, I can definitely tell.

I’ll tell you though, it doesn’t really hurt, it just feels like a crazy deep stretch, you know?

I think that is normal. When you do the JAI’s hold the stretch out longer than you normally would, 60 seconds. Release, deep breath do it again.

OK I will, thanks kingpole. I usually do the two second breath out, release breath in deal, but I will try a 60sec hold for sure. Good to hear that it is pretty normal

cub bear, let me say something to kingpole first.

Kingpole, I just tried to hold my breath for 60 seconds and after 25 I started counting faster and at about 45 I gave up. Did you really mean breathe in and hold for 60 seconds? I normally hold for 20 sec. I guess I’m getting old!

In the beginning, and for about 5 sessions, I had the same sort of pull in my groin area, on the right side and especially when I was doing circular or rotary stretches. I also had definite pulling sensations in the area just above the base of the penis when I stretched out or down. It wasn’t particularly painful, actually not at all, but a feeling that was strange. At first I was worried a bit thinking that I had pulled something that I shouldn’t have. But, I applied a warm rice sox on my right leg (with a rolled up towel between it and my nut sack to protect it from the heat) and on my pubs and lower stomach. Both for about 15 minutes each time, and it went away. I’ve not been bothered with either again, so I guess it was just a breaking-in adjustment. So, as kingpole said, don’t worry about it.

Cub, that feeling in general is ok, what you should avoid is pain. Only you can tell what level of discomfort you are at when you pull “so deep”. Reduce the intensity if it feels intolerable or close to it. Never allow pain.

What you are feeling seems like a reflex sensation to me because the ligament’s insertion to the pubic bone does not reach that far.

I think he ment to hold the stretch for 60 seconds.

Yes, I understand that, but, as I understand the way to do a JAI stretch, you pull the penis straight out “as you take a breath”, “hold for about 2 sec.” (still holding the breath) and then “slowly let the penis relax” as you “exhale.” Bythe way, I hold mine (stretch and breath) for about 10-15 seconds.

So, if I understand kingpole and you, this would mean holding the stretch AND your breath for 60 seconds (1 minute). Right?

I would be blue in the face by then!

Mafero, thanks for the re-assurance that it is OK. Definitely no pain though.

Panos, thank you also for the advice with the rice sock, I am going to try it out tonight.

I have a question about stretching also, I’ve been measuring my BPS before and after and I see no difference. Does anyone have a difference in there BPS before and after?
