Ok, so after reading some threads on the best way to do the warmup I understand that the most effective is the IR lamp but I want to try the other ones first. One guy said that using water is better than heating pads because water again penetrates deeper but the heating pads are more comfortable to use. So my questions are:
1-can you obtain the same effect with heating pads if you keep it for longer around the penis?(I understand that heating pads only heat the surface area)

2-there are some guys that dunk their penis in a cup of hot water. Could I use a bowl and dunk my penis with my testicles all together? Might it damage the testicles?

Heat is heat is heat. No matter the source the heat will penetrate into the tissue as long as the source is applied to or directed to the penis. As soon as you remove the heat source (a warm cloth or cup of hot water), the penis begins to cool.

Hot water does not penetrate deeper than a heating pad. (We’re discussing practical application, not thermodynamics.) IR lamp may have better penetration than other sources, but I am not as familiar with their use. Hot shower/bath is also good for a warm up.

The benefit of a heating pad is it is always warm so is generally easier to use. The same applies to an ir lamp. I use a heating pad wrapped around my tube when pumping.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I started with a super hot water soaked thick washcloth, then wrung slightly, wrap it around my penis, if too hot take off, then put back on and let it go until I could feel that it was not hot or really warm anymore. I’d do that until I had a solid 10-13 minutes of good heat so that when I’d touch myself, it would be quite warm to my fingers.

I started dunking myself into hot water after a few years in probably 2006, I just thought it would be better than washcloths. Could never tell which was the better method.

I took a massive break from PE and got back into it really hardcore again in 2018. Instead of water at all I use one of those long, two-chamber rice and flax seed microwavable heating wraps for necks (it works so good for that!). I fold it in half lengthwise over my penis, one half running the top of me and the other the bottom. REALLY good heat like the best heat I’ve ever felt. I also let the top end go up to my pubic bone to warm up top ligaments and large veins and arteries that run the top of me. I don’t know if members on this forum use rice sock type wraps for warm ups but I’ve found they are really great.

Bottom line is yes any heat source can penetrate into the deep tissue if you keep the heat on long enough and it is not burning and hurting you.

Summer 2004: bpel 7 7/8", bpfsl 8 1/8", flaccid ~4", erect girth 5.3"

Spring 2018: bpel 7 1/4", bpfsl 7 5/8", erect girth 5 1/8"; Spring 2020: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth 5 3/8". Current - August 2023: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth mid shaft 5 1/4" (5 1/2" at base)
