Questions about pumping

Hey guys.

I’ve pretty much given up on the idea of enlarging my penis because I already have a big size to begin with (7.5-7.75” BPEL) only problem being that I do carry excess body fat. For some amount of years I’ve always thought I had a small penis but that isn’t the case, I just didn’t take care of myself and let my weight and the food that I consumed take it’s effect on the functions of my body.

However, I still own a penis pump and I want to make good use of it.. I mean I may as well. I have a feeling that I don’t use my pump correctly and that the tube for my pump may be small for my base girth (6.5”-6.8” depending on erection). And I have some questions relating to this.

1. How do you use the pump correctly? I always let my penis pump to a semi-erection inside the tube and let it rest for a minute and then I pump until I get a full sized erection in the tube (however those erections go down after removing the tube). I’ve read on reddit that you don’t squeeze the bulb/grip until your penis stops “growing” after each squeeze because the penis doesn’t get used to the pressure straight away. What is the correct method?

2. Can I use the pump to just maintain penis health? I honestly don’t care about gaining permanent size overtime, however I would like my penis to be in tip top condition. And if so, how long should I pump for and how many times a week?

3. When I did use the pump frequently, the skin of the base/base girth always packed the base of the tube and whenever I removed it, the skin near the base feels squishy and I can feel a ball of edema. I know this means that overpumping is a sign but does it also mean that the tube is small or?

First, for your base girth, you should be using a cylinder with an inside diameter of 2.25”.

I always enter the tube erect and pump to 3”hg to get used to the pressure before ending up around 5 to 6”hg depending on your conditioning to pumping. You have a squeeze bulb, so no pressure gauge and I would seriously consider finding a pump with a gauge for the best pumping experience with the least trauma.

I think pumping is great for penis health as it promotes maximum blood flow and expansion. Pick a schedule of around 3 to 4 times per week. I like to spend around 30 to 40 minutes in the cylinder per session for maximum effect. When it comes to getting the best results, I think continuous time in the tube is way more important then the amount of pressure you use.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’m looking at pumps that are on shops that’s within my country, is it okay to get a pump with 2.4-2.5” width? The others that I see do not have a pressure gauge but have the 2.25” width.. Would that cause problems or would it be fine?

Also on the pumps I see -0.05, 0.08 numbers with the pressure gauges but nothing like the one you stated (3-6hg) unless the 0.08 stuff actually stands for 8hg.

Isn’t 30-40 minutes a bit too much just for maintaining penis health? I’d understand to gain size but for penile health?

I wish you had a link to the pumps you are describing. Ideally the 2.25" cylinder is your best fit.

Look at the Relative Vacuum Pressure Conversion Chart on the page. (The 2nd chart) The numbers on the gauges you are looking at are the Bar Negative Gauge units and the units I am using are inches of mercury ( "hg). Most of the gauges here have 2 scales on them, one for mm hg and the other for inches hg. But the table will give you an idea how to set you pressure correctly. For instance, 5.98"hg = .2 bar and 2.99"hg = .1 bar

30 to 40 minutes would be for growth. Probably more like 10 minutes for penile health.

This is a link for the type of pump I am talking about.

Well if that’s the best you can come up with, you have to go for it. Too bad Australia is not more progressive about penis pumping!

Oh, and by the way. Look at the outer scale on the pressure gauge of that pump. The black numbers are the vacuum pressure in inches mercury, ("hg).

I always used it at 50% to 75% erection levels when I had my bathmate. I can’t really see the purpose of using it with a completely flaccid dick, but I may be wrong..

Current

8.5 BPEL

7.25 EG

I suffer with ED so I am always flaccid when I enter the cylinder. In addition to PE, I also use a pump in order to generate an erection which I maintain with the use of a tight tension band.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Try kegels and pelvic floor exercises. A lot of times ED is related to pelvic floor muscles weakening.
