Hi all!

I’ll give this another shot for a few months.
Starting off:

15 min Warming
5 min Jelq
5 min Stretch
15 min Warming

Is this suitable?
And how does one come to the conclusion that gains aren’t being made based on inadequate exercise time vs technique?

Try 5 minute warming, 5 minute stretch, 10 minutes jelqing to start and then increase the time every couple of weeks. Why would you want to spend 30 minutes on warming?

Unsure about increasing time every couple of weeks; I followed the newbie routine to gradually increasing to 30 mins of Jelqing and was then advised to decondition due to getting no gains after months. 15 mins is max on warming up, and it’s mostly through IR lamp which I feel would need a bit more to get the penis thoroughly warmed.

You didn’t get any gains because the routine is weak as can be. You’re not going to get direct gains from jelquing, and probably only minimal from manual stretches. Most gains people experience from jelquing is from increased blood flow to the penis (EQ). If you had a healthy penis to begin with and didn’t have room to increase blood flow you probably won’t get any “gains.”

Jelquing is still important because it will build stronger blood supply to the new tissue that is developed from more strenuous exercises, but to rely on it purely for gains is folly.

And why on earth would you spend half an hour warming up and “cooling down” to only spend 10m of actual exercises?

The argument to this is over stressing the penis, particularly early, toughens the penis up and thus makes gains harder to achieve — which is why a number of people also advise against pumping and esp clamping until gains have been exhausted from simple exercises.
As I explained, the IR lamp isn’t an encompassing as wet wraps and the like, so I like to make sure all areas are covered.

Hey DarkEngine, I’ve had success strictly with jelqing & stretches (so it’s certainly possible) but I’ve had to increase intensity as my progress slowed (first went from 10 minutes jelqing to 15 minutes and later increased PE frequency from 3 days a week to 5 days a week).

Obviously there’s no one-size-fits-all which makes PE a dance we all must finesse, sometimes stepping on it but other times guessing the next step correctly. I had multiple false starts over the course of a year prior to settling in about 4 months ago when I finally started to get some gains. Anyway, best of luck - don’t give up mate!
