Rice Sock

How long does the rice in the sock last before you need to replace it and put new rice in? Seems like you’d be going through alot of rice if you refilled it up each day.

Just go by how long the rice sock retains its heat. When there’s a sharp decline in heat retention, then change the rice. Or when the original time it takes to microwave to desired temperature needs to be increased, then think about refilling it.

Probably a couple of years

Buy a real heating pad and it never will need to.

You don’t need to refill it often. It lasts long time.

If the rice starts to smell or goes mouldy, replace it. If it doesn’t you can use the same rice for ages.
