I was in the bathroom at home, my second day PEing since starting and I was trying to get some blood flowing to do dry jelging (I figured out a method so I can do it at work as well). Well, my thoughts wondered to screwing my wife’s married sister. I imagined I had grown an inch and she found out from my wife and wanted to test out my new member. The fantasy was working pretty good until I felt something wet on my hand. Looked down and I had blood dripping from my hand, on my leg and on the toilet seat. Scared the holy crap out of me! Checked the pee hole and no blood (whew!). Checked the shaft and it looked like I popped a small vein close to the surface near the head and it was no big deal. It stopped as soon as it started but made a big mess. But as soon as I figured out it was no big deal I thought to myself “man, I better clean up my thoughts!” hehehe. This stuff is punishing! I hope it works.

This isn’t what is normally supposed to happen, when beginning. Are you sure that you weren’t overzealous in your gripping, or jelquing?

Just a suggestion, but if I were you, I would begin with a cautious and exploratory first few sessions, just so that you can get a feel for how the exercises are done, the correct techniques for them, also learning about gripping and intensity. I would think that easing into the exercises so that you can really learn how your penis feels at different stages of the technique is something to keep in mind.

It is better to be safe than sorry, at least for now, before you start ramping up the session intensity.

That about says it right there, “my thoughts wandered…looked down and had blood dripping from my hand”. You have to pay attention by visuals and sensations to how your penis is responding to your stimulus. Don’t get me wrong, here, nothing wrong with using fantasizing as an aide to PE, but, make sure you also have an eye on your penis, too! :)

I’ve been jelqing for 5 months now and have gone at it pretty intense sometimes but I’ve never had any bleeding and I don’t recall anyone mentioning it. I started very easy and worked my way up.

Yes, probably a good wake up call. My mind was definitely elsewhere. What was strange is there really wasn’t any real discomfort prior. It really was a surprise.

A little off the subject, but I had another wake up call this morning. I just found Thunder’s Place and while I was at work, I came here to read threads. Innocent enough, right? I’ve come to appreciate erections as “works in progress”. I assume that you’ve just torn the skin. I once was doing it to my girlfriend doggy style. Ouch! Sorry to hear about your injury. It sounds like you were applying too much pressure.

You’d better not do any PE for a while. That may take several weeks to heal properly.

I would also take a rest for few weeks for member to heal, you probally torn yourself with a nail and too much pressure.

A urologist friend of mine - and several other veterans here - says that your WARM UP “HOT” PACK is VITAL to your exercise.

Not only does it relax your member, it also does so for the supporting musculature. Remember, that until your body gets used to these new stresses, it is going to “fight back.”

As you have been, and all us new guys have been, advised - take it slo, pay attention to what you are doing, pay attention to what your body says to you, and remember that weare in this for the long haul.

As with others, I wish this was a quick fix - but alas, it ain’t.

I have popped some small and big veins but those never caused blood on the outside. I would guess you just had some dry skin and wasn’t paying attention to it. I’ve had that a lot with masturbation in the past and still sometimes while jelqing but never more than a lil drop of blood.
