Hello all,

I started my PE journey in late July 04. My starting stats were as follows.

LOT - 6:00
EBPL - 6.25”
EG - 4.0”
FL - 3.5”
FG - 3.0”

My stats as of Sept 1st 2004

EBPL - 6.50”
EG - 4.25”
FL - 4.25”
FG - 4.0”

My questions involve LOT, I stumbled across betterman.com’s forums and read their Newbie routine. It describes the process of finding LOT, and I found that 6:00 seems to be my LOT, but I can still feel a bit of a tug there as well. At no point on the “clock” does the tug completely disappear. I was wondering if that is “normal” and if anyone has heard of this before.

Also, the newbie routine there said that exercises should be performed straight out, or straight up with a LOT of 6:00….Does that mean that any hanging on downward stretching would be ineffective?

I’m somewhat new to all this as well, but I think I’ve got my head around LOT theory. LOT is basically the angle at which tension caused by pulling on the head of the penis switches from the tunica (or, more accurately, the deep fascia within the penis) to the ligaments (suspensory and fundiform).

When you pull (or stretch) straight up, the ligs are basically lax and all of the tension is borne by the tunica. Kegeling pulls back on the crura (separated parts of the corpora cavernosa) and thus causes the body of the penis to pull back.

But at lower angles, the ligs, not the tunica, limit how far you can pull the penis out. Kegeling does not produce noticeable tugback, because there is “slack” in the tunica in the regions internal to the locations where the ligs attach to the penis. You simply can’t Kegel hard enough to take up the slack.

Turning to your situation, if you are correct that your LOT is 6 (if that), then hanging straight down will actually still be pulling on your tunica.

You can regard this as a good thing, since hanging straight down is usually easier than stretching straight out or over the shoulder. You can be assured of getting a good tunica stretch at virtually any angle.

So, no. Downward stretching is not ineffective.

On the other hand, stretching straight out will surely hit only your tunica (with your LOT of 6). This will help your tunica to “catch up” with your ligs. The result is that your LOT will slowly rise. Once it rises, hanging straight down may stretch your ligs and produce some quick length gains.

Wow, awesome, thank you for the insight. With my limited knowledge, what you have said makes some sense. Just to clarify, after reading more since my original post, I am feeling the tug at my glans at 6, I feel it at every point on the “clock”. I’m not just looking at the base for movement.

Don’t be discouraged by your low LOT. People talk about achieving quick gains when LOT is high by stretching their ligs, but those gains are primarily caused by the penis exiting the abdominal cavity at a lower point, rather than by growth in the body of the penis itself.

If increased length is your goal, be prepared for a slow process. Don’t pay attention to people who gain over an inch in their first month of PE. That probably won’t be you.

But, with perseverance, you will grow, slowly but surely. Don’t do too much too fast. Focus on consistency and avoiding injury. Growth will come in due time.

It feels odd to give advice like this, since I’m still sort of a newbie myself. But I think my advice reflects the general consensus on this site, which I’ve read pretty extensively. Vets: please correct me if you disagree.

My LOT is at about 9:00. Does that mean I have a better chance of benefiting from stretches than jelqing?

With your LOT of 9, hanging or stretching straight down might get you some quick length gains, as your ligaments stretch and more of your internal penis is revealed.

I wouldn’t give up on the jelqing, though. Jelqing is good for both length and girth. To really work on length, jelq straight down, at low erection levels (30-40%). Get a good stretch out of each stroke.

Sound advice. If I don’t see any gains from stretching, I’ll give that a shot. I’m already about 5.5” around, so I’m not necessarily going for girth gains, though they are quite welcome if they do come. :) Thanks for the advice!

You can also stretch BTC. This will hit your ligs well.

Hello all,

i´m kind of new on the forum, so i have some doubts about the LOT theory and i thought that somebody could help me whit this.

The problem is that i´m having some difficulty on getting the wright LOT, because i read that we have to desconsider that flexing sensation of the penis while kegeling and look just to the base, at the ligs. I´m confused because the first time i did that, i saw that the lig disappeared at 7:00 to 8:00. Then i continued doing PE exercises for almost a month and when i did the lot test again, the kegel didn´t flexed so much (the flexing sensation), and the ligs disappeared at around 9:00 to 10:00. So, my lot increased too much to be true, isn´t it?
Now i´m confused about what kind of exercise i should do.
Somebody help me, plase.
