Spots not on veins

So I’ve tried jelqing and PE off and on for about 2 years.. Mainly the reasons that I ever stopped was because I saw these “bumps” that I always read about. Then I freak out and quit after 2-3 weeks of work and think “what’s the point?”

I finally started getting in a routine without any bumps and have been strong for almost a month again. But once again one little bump is showing up.. But I’m questioning it..

I shave my pubic hair along the shaft and from time to time I get a knick or two. When I look, the bump is not red. It is more or less purple and dull. It doesn’t hurt and it’s not located on a vein or any other flowing artery/capillary whatever. In fact, it resides over the hair follicle.. I was wondering if any of you thought it would be unsafe to keep jelqing?

Could be an ingrown hair. Try trimming instead of shaving.

How would you suggest trimming the shaft?

Just shave the shaft and try to keep it clean. Or, if it’s a handful of hairs.. Tweezers? It’s not as bad as you’d think.

Use a sideburn trimmer. There are cheap ones with interchangeable heads for trimming, shaving and nose hair tweezing.
