Squeeze from the sides to get more corpus carvernosum?

I do a lot of base squeezes when fully erect or pretty close. Up to now I’ve been using an over hand “O” shape with my thumb and index+middle finger.

Problem is, it felt like I was giving to much attention to the corpus spongiosum along the bottom.

So I changed my hand position to palm up which puts the base of the thumb on one side and the pinky+ring finger on the other side. This way the sides get most of the pressure, with less on the top and bottom.

By getting the sides this way I feel as though more pressure is being applied to the corpus cavernosum. Is this thinking correct? Does anyone else do this?

I just wanted to bump this to say that I’ve been doing my base squeezes exclusively this way since the above post (palm up, pushing in mainly on the lower sides of the CC) and it feels like it’s the right thing to do (but still too early to tell if it’s making that much of a difference)

So I’ll ask again, anyone else doing it this way also?

I’ve never done base squeezes with any regularity, but I have wondered about a similar thing when clamping.
