Starting with advanced techniques

I’m.. Somewhat of a newbie to PE. I’ve known about it, and done it on and off, for about 2 years. Right now, I’m about 6.5x5, and looking not so much for length gains as much as girth. As a matter of fact, I’d rather have NO length gains, and just girth, if it’s at all possible. So, like I’ve said, I’ve been jelqing on and off for quite a while, but I’m just getting back into it after a long layoff. I’ve heard that clamping is the best for girth, and I’m not too concerned with discoloration, but I’ve also heard, repeatedly, that jelqs should be done for a few months before moving on to the “advanced” movements, citing nebulous “injuries.” I’ve never heard what these injuries were, though. O_o So what’s the deal guys?

Bursted veins? Tunica tears? And just plain overwork - it’s not the path for gains.

Also, it happens that manual stretching gives girth gains to some, and jelq girth gains to some other PEer.
That’s why we always suggest to do a basic, well rounded manual routine - so you know how things works on you.

Welcome aboard and good luck.

Thanks :3 The times that I did clamp, I did notice some gains, so maybe some mild clamping with jelqing would be okay?
