Still.There are people who start with a big girth and then get girth. It’s probably harder though. Saiyan, you know him has like a 6inch BG and gained 1inch in length over 2 years with serious dedicated hanging. I gained an inch in less than one year with manual exercises and starting with like a 4.75 - 5inch base girth.
I would say the bigger the girth the harder it is to stretch the tunica really well but you can still get ligament gains at the very least. And to be honest I’m really slacking on my clamping lately, I’m just working hard to get to 8 inches! But I’ll be doing light clamping when I can.
Basically I’m saying, it’s still generally known you can gain length and girth at the same time. Now unless I suddenly go from 5/5.25 - 6inches then get an inch after. I won’t really of proved anything. I don’t mind, I’ll take any gains in all dimensions I can get.
