Temporary grey blotches after pumping

Temporary grey blotches after pumping

I am still trying to find the right vacuum and duration for pumping. Last night I gradually worked-up to 28 kpa (8 inhg) over 30 minutes. I used the shea butter lubrication recommended here and it worked great.

The problem came when I removed the pump and noticed large grey splotches covering about 25% of my penis making it look somewhat like a black and white cow. These splotches disappeared in less than 5 minutes.

Are the splotches a problem?

What’s your natural girth vs. tube inside diameter? Are you getting a donut?

The tube is 2.125 inches (6.685 circumference). My girth is around 5.750 near the base where it is widest.

No donut or noticeable edema. I think ending at 30 minute helps on that.

I have noticed sometimes when I use the extender and it begins to burn around my scrotum that the head is somewhat grey colored in places. The greyness disappears as soon as I remove the extender, so I think it is blood circulation.

One difference is that I used exclusively a program that holds the vacuum for a minute or so before releasing and repeating. In the past, I split the time with another program that increases the vacuum to a target of around 38 kpa (11 inhg) over 10 seconds or so and immediately releases and repeats. It’s possible that this program helped to keep my blood circulating during the session.

It seems to be working for you, but I’d be paranoid about the gray spots.

You might try pulling out of the tube every ten or fifteen minutes and giving it a few jelqs or a brief massage to make sure there are no circulation problems.

That sounds like a good idea. It’s definitely easy to do too much with the pump.

It is probably ‘mottling’ in regions of vascular perfusion/ stasis in your skin that relates to small surface variations in vacuum-induced stasis of venous blood in the tiny surface veins of the skin and regions of adjacent skin edema. I get something similar when I pump and it resolves in a few minutes. I’ve never concerned myself with it.

Rock out with your cock out!

I’ve gotten a similar look when using coconut butter with vitamin e after pumping. It goes away. Not sure why the mottling happens but it only happens if I moisturize after.

Began (1/9/2023) BPEL 6.175” x MSEG 4.875”

Current (2/23/2024) BPEL 7.6” x MSEG 5.375”. Goal BPEL 8.0” x MSEG 6.0”

That is weird. Hmmmm. I have been breaking up the session with a different program on my automatic pump that immediately release the vacuum as soon as the target is reached and repeats. I haven’t had the grey blotches again, so I think it must have been poor blood circulation for me. I have a tendency for my fingers and toes to get white in cold weather, and that is probably poor circulation too. Just guessing though.
