Don’t worry too much about finding ‘the’ perfect routine- PE is more about process than absolute precision. What is the exact very bestest routine ever today won’t necessarily be that tomorrow.
Find one you can stick with- consistency here is a far better master than perfection.
General principles to bear in mind-
1. Thorough warm-up- you should feel the warmth in the very core of your unit.
2. Focus- NPE [‘Natural’ PE- manual, as opposed to device oriented] requires a Zen mind.
3. Consistency- schedule it into your day [like a ‘pay yourself first savings’ plan].
4. Patience- You’ll likely have your unit for the rest of your days, so treat it with care and respect. Impatience may lead you to try stupid shit that may damage your unit. Be the Tortoise.
5. Motivation- be clear on your whys, else you wander about in the PE wilderness like so many [including myself] are won’t to do.
6. Objective- be clear on where you want to go with PE, so that you will know when you have arrived. It’s okay to adjust your goals along the way, even to reject them entirely, but if you don’t ever conceptualize them clearly you run the risk of simply floating, possibly filled with resentment at seemingly getting nowhere.
Do this for YOU. There will be many hers [or hims if that’s your style] and you may lose sight of your own motives if you attach them to transient elements.
Girth and glee.
