Thera-P Wrist wraps

Hi all,
I was abut to order a couple of wrist wraps over the net but then I noticed in the accompanying image of the wraps that they appear not to be a straightforward rectangular design - in the picture you can just see there is a curved piece of the wrap that seems to support the hand (obviously great if your going to use it on your wrist but I would imagine no good on your dick). Have they changed the design or are PE buyers simply cutting off the hand support bit?

I believe those are the new ones with a hot/cold gel insert, no? I just got these (see below) yesterday from Overstock and already tried them out. Let’s just say I’ll be sticking with the ACE self-adhesive wrap - I can’t figure out how some guys can actually wear these comfortably - unless I got the wrong ones. Not a fan.

I was looking to acquire the TheraP bands to keep the little (getting bigger) guy from turtling up during work hours. Whilst a lot of Seniors swear by them obviously they haven’t done the job for you. Do you use your ACE wrap in the same way or mostly for hanging and / or clamping?

I neither hang nor clamp — I just started wrapping a few days ago for the reason you describe. For me the ACE self-adhesive bandage (2” width) is excellent. I use a layer of tissue (kleenex or whatever) in between the bandage and my unit which makes removing it pain-free. Wrap from base to just below the glans, tight enough to provide a decent engorgement of the head. Every couple hours I’ll remove the wrap, give myself a 5 minute massage, then re-wrap.

I don’t want to disparage a product I’ve only tried once. Perhaps I didn’t use the Thera-P correctly so I’ll definitely give it another go. But the ACE has been great these past few days. No turtling whatsoever combined with a plumper, healthier- looking (and feeling) flaccid.
My advice would be to try the ACE first because you can probably find it at the corner pharmacy. I suppose the downsides of the ACE are (1) no magnets inside, and (2) higher cost in the long run as you can wash and reuse the Thera-P.
