Toilet paper roll test giving different MEG

As stated in my journal;

Just did the toilet paper roll test with a roll that has 5.5” girth and had 3” left of shaft (NBPEL) that the roll could not cover. If I take out the cardboard factor it probably means 5.25” of girth.

So since my NBPEL is 5” that means that my MEG would be 5.25”, how could I measure it to 4”7 at first or 5”1 once. It might mean I have been measuring my girth wrong all the time and my real MEG is 5,25”, which is not bad. The TEG is still low but I don’t care that much since it makes insertion and BJs easy.

I have trouble believing my MEG is 5.25” but I had trouble believing that my BEG is 6”3 and my girlfriend measured the same thing. It’s just my cock doesn’t feel thick to me although sometime I see that it actually is, weird. Body dismorphia I guess.

Should not have been use a dental floss to measure since it’s extensible or have been using a bodybuilding tape as the one attached in this post. I’m still a bit confused about measurements.

So my question is, what is the absolute most precise tool or way to measure girth, a string or the TP roll ?

Either use a cloth tape measure like tailors use, or just cut a strip of paper half an inch or so deep, wrap it around your penis and mark where it crosses with a pen, then measure between the marks with a ruler.

Those tape measures are cheap. I found some in the 99cent store.

Your findings make perfect sense.
Your shaft is not round… more oval then round anyway so a 5-1/4” round tube will only fit a smaller oval shape in the hole.

As has been suggested above, a clothe tape measure is a more accurate way to measure.

I found that a 3/4” wide paper towel strip works best.

What is the intent of this? I understand that it involves measuring your penis in relation to a TP roll, but what is the “test” part of this? I’ve never understood what it’s supposed to mean.

Currently my cock slides right into the TP roll. When it no longer slides into the TP roll, that means it’s too big to slide into a TP roll.

Do any of you guys have a collection of different sizes of cylinders like TP rolls and other stuff that you use to know if you have gained more girth ? If so what do you use ?

Ha who said the best measure of girth was a toilet roll? Tailors tape is probably easiest.

I don’t measure often at all but I do use my hands to get a feeling for if it’s getting bigger. I.e. make an ok sign around it and see where my index finger meets my thumb. Gives nice reassurance without becoming anxious about numbers on a tape.

Get a tailors tape and that’s all you need.

+ My earlier question was a legitimate one. I honestly don’t know what the non-PE crowd thinks they are getting out of the TP roll test. Is it believed that a TP roll represents the average penis length and girth?

I’ve heard about it as being a test for if you’re too thick to fit. Or if you’re thin enough to fit inside. I don’t know really, I’ve only heard girls talk about it.

There’s so much variation in the size of toilet rolls that its a silly test. I’ve seen them vary from less than 5” to more than 6” circumference. I guess even the smaller ones are average girth or larger.

True. It’s also yet another lesson to me: don’t put any stock in what non-PE people say or do. Most guys on this forum are 100% dick-smarter than the outside world. Sometimes I’m stunned by how clueless the outsiders are.
