Ultrasound to move past gain plateaus

This is my first post to TP. I joined because I have reached a plateau of 7.25”BPEL despite all of my efforts for the last year and it has left me depressed. I recently read a post on dorsal thickening, and I think that has been my problem. My ligaments have gotten just to used to stretching over the last decade. Yes, I have been on and off over the last 10 years, on a year, off a year, on 6 months, off 6 months, etc. With no regularity, depending on how busy my life is at the time. I have tried everything known to man. Starting length was 6.0”BPEL, so I feel I have made decent gains, but about a year ago, they just stopped.

Now the exciting part for me. I went to physical therapy for another non related issue, and ultrasound had really helped. So two weeks ago, I blew 600 bucks on a professional ultrasound machine. I have done this for my first week - Monday - Friday, 20 minutes of US on the dorsal surface of the penis while held in a JES extender, stretching to the limit once warmed up. Then I take it off, put on an ADS system, do another 10 minutes of manual stretching, the wear it for another 6-8 hours around my waist.

Interestingly, I swear the base couple of inches of my dick seems thicker already after a week. It could be all in my head. The other think I noticed, is that the dorsal ligament, even after I’m done with my routine, is more prominent and can be seen under the skin, which tells me it is stretching more. I think my cold steel cord is no match for the ultrasound. It is finally getting stretched past its previous limit, then held with light wear all day. That’s what ultrasound is good for, relieving ligament and tendon contraction and promoting new growth.

Do this shit at your own risk people, I am moving into uncharted territory unless someone else is out there doing posts on using ultrasound, which I really hope there are to compare notes. I bought a medical school textbook on amazon on Ultrasound Therapy. I will start posting more to update if anybody is interested. I really hope there are some other US users out there on TP.

Here is one thread I found using the search function but there are more if you use the search function for ultrasound.

Ultrasound therapy

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Give this log a read, he’s been using ultrasound for a while.

I just wanted to quote the topic, rightly saying it all. You´ll find out it does

When connective tissue is stretched within therapeutic temperatures ranging 102 to 110 F (38.9- 43.3 C), the amount of structural weakening produced by a given amount of tissue elongation varies inversely with the temperature. This is apparently related to the progressive increase in the viscous flow properties of the collagenous tissue when it is heated. (Warren et al (1971,1976)

Guys, thanks for the reply and info. New to this forum and I must say I’m very impressed with the helpfulness of the members and the quality of the content. Kyrpa, great detailed info on US. I will be adding more commentary on the topic in weeks to follow and additional relevant research to reinforce what you have already started. This is super exciting for me.

If you google “pegym ultrasound heat” you’ll find a pretty decent thread on the subject as well.

Yeah, me too! Been following this idea for awhile, & I’m convinced it’ll help get past the plateau.

Doc have been that beautifully reporting on my log that he surely deserves to start a journal of his own.

Hey Mike, where’d you find US units for $150? That’s almost starting to sound reasonable, since the prices we usually see are $250 & above. I’m ready to give US a try, if these units look decent…

$167 and there are others with a basic google search of: portable ultrasound machine

If the above unit came in 3 MHz I would of already ordered it today.

I believe the unit discussed in some of the larger threads on this forum is the US Pro 2000 2nd Edition and you can find that online for $149

I just received a unit that I purchased through EBay for $180.00. Manufactured in India. I am going to begin experimenting with it today. It didn’t come with an instruction manual. The unit does not feel very robust. So quality and longevity might be a concern.

It has 27 programs to select from. Depending on the program it will provide either pulse or continuous as well as 1 or 3 MHz.

Program 11 is set to continuous 3 MHz and for all of the programs it appears that the intensity is selected by the user. The intensity can be adjusted in tenths all the way up to 3 w/ cm^2.

I’m going to begin my experimentation today extending with continuous 3 MHz at 2 w/cm^2.

To the moon and beyond brothers!
