Ultrasound to move past gain plateaus
This is my first post to TP. I joined because I have reached a plateau of 7.25”BPEL despite all of my efforts for the last year and it has left me depressed. I recently read a post on dorsal thickening, and I think that has been my problem. My ligaments have gotten just to used to stretching over the last decade. Yes, I have been on and off over the last 10 years, on a year, off a year, on 6 months, off 6 months, etc. With no regularity, depending on how busy my life is at the time. I have tried everything known to man. Starting length was 6.0”BPEL, so I feel I have made decent gains, but about a year ago, they just stopped.
Now the exciting part for me. I went to physical therapy for another non related issue, and ultrasound had really helped. So two weeks ago, I blew 600 bucks on a professional ultrasound machine. I have done this for my first week - Monday - Friday, 20 minutes of US on the dorsal surface of the penis while held in a JES extender, stretching to the limit once warmed up. Then I take it off, put on an ADS system, do another 10 minutes of manual stretching, the wear it for another 6-8 hours around my waist.
Interestingly, I swear the base couple of inches of my dick seems thicker already after a week. It could be all in my head. The other think I noticed, is that the dorsal ligament, even after I’m done with my routine, is more prominent and can be seen under the skin, which tells me it is stretching more. I think my cold steel cord is no match for the ultrasound. It is finally getting stretched past its previous limit, then held with light wear all day. That’s what ultrasound is good for, relieving ligament and tendon contraction and promoting new growth.
Do this shit at your own risk people, I am moving into uncharted territory unless someone else is out there doing posts on using ultrasound, which I really hope there are to compare notes. I bought a medical school textbook on amazon on Ultrasound Therapy. I will start posting more to update if anybody is interested. I really hope there are some other US users out there on TP.
