What angle should an ADS be at?

I work in an office setting most of the day and I can be pretty discrete, but I can’t be naked for example. When I’m sitting I usually have it angled down, does it make a difference? Thanks in advance!

I have a rig that uses a ring around the base of my shaft and a strap that runs around my butt, hooking to the vacuum cap.
My shaft tucks into the crease between my leg and abdomen. My wife says there’s no sign of the strap under my pants.

I’ve used the pull-up-via-neck-loop and pull-down-to-calf-strap arrangements, but the pull-to-side is more comfortable for me.

I switch the direction of pull each day to keep things evened out.
