I do not believe one is better than the other unless you are trying to correct a curve. Best to stretch in all directions.

Downward stretching made my erection angle a lot lower. I kinda regret it….


STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in

I think it is an individual preference. For me, downward feels more effective, but I still stretch in all directions, down, up and side to side, but mostly down while squatting. That one I feel the most from.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Because the grip applies the force more efficient at a downward angle. Also the dorsal tunica stretched better and further at a downward angle.

Reverse Turkey Neck

I might be in the minority here, but my dorsal vein pulls away from my body slightly. It forms something like a subtle “turkey neck” but above my penis (reverse). It does this when I am erect and when I stretch straight out. So… I can’t stretch straight down for too long or else my dorsal vein gets sore.

Also, I have slight bend downward, so I am trying to straighten that out by using an ADS upward. All that being said, I might need to stretch downward anyway because my vein may be a limiting factor.

I have noticed something similar too but only with fulcrum stretches. When i do an A stretch my dorsal main moves to the side during the stretch, but it never feels sore after and i never had any discomfort.

Also about the curve i have a strong upward curve with a high erection angle and it hasn’t change after years of downward stretching both simple and fulcrum. My penis is just longer and bigger but with the same upward curve.
