Will one hour with extender work too?

Btw if you can only do 15-20min sets you may be extending too much. I had the same issue, it hurts the ego but makes much sense to extend slightly less but be able to at least 30mins sets.


Thanks, I am trying your advice. I have two extenders, and I am using the gentler extender. It seems to allow for longer sets.

I’m using NIR + what I would categorize as an "extreme" extender (DIY). Been at it for over a month and went from 7.06" to 7.25" BPEL and 7.06" to 7.5" BPFSL. I extend for 1 hour only per day, 5 days a week.

I think the high tension extenders are only meant to be used to shorter durations of time. I’m not sure about all the brands but I’ve looked into the apex and total man extender and it seems like 1 hour in either of those would be more than sufficient. I ordered the apex to transition to that from manual stretching but haven’t received it yet.

As others have stated, use heat and a vacuum cup style extender. Treat it more like a hanging session where you constantly increase the tension every ten minutes or so. The vacuum cup will allow for higher tensions than the sled style. Then after your session, wear an anti-turtling sleeve to keep your flaccid at its max length for the rest of the day. You’ll be amazed how much longer you stretch with heat. After being stalled for a bit, I’ve added .25" BPEL in about 3 months using this technique. And I’m well beyond my newbie gains. I’ve also added .75" to my flaccid length in a year. I think the silicon sleeve has a lot to do with that.

If you want better and faster results 15-30 minutes jelqing first is a must. Than 1 hour of traction to help space out the micro-rips that you have created so that your body starts to heal it. If you are doing just traction devices than 1 hour won’t do much but it’s a good start to build it up to 6-8 hours. Also, kegeling on and off helps while wearing device or doing jelqing.

If you are just focusing only on length of your penis or to straightening it out, than don’t do jelqing. Jelqing also increases girth a lot so keep that in mind.

Thanks, that is helpful information. I had been doing kegeling while wearing the stretcher already, because the spring seemed to be a good form of resistance. I also had hoped that it might increase the benefit for the limited time wearing the stretcher. Jelqing I have not been doing, because (for me) it requires some lubricant which I don’t like due to messiness and hassle.

Hmmm, that is a lot of improvement.

Personally, I never wear an extender for more than an hour at a time, because it is practically impossible to hang longer without cutting off blood circulation. If I wanted to hang longer, then I would have to specifically lower the tension, which then has no significant effect because the penis would not be stretched. But I completely agree with the others who say that warm-up and stretching exercises are very important before hanging. I wouldn’t do jelqing before hanging because it increases your volume a lot. At most, I would only use Jelqing before getting pumped, or when doing a manual only routine.

Yeah, I’ve found that I must remove the extender every 20-30 minutes, because it starts stinging or burning where the base pushes against my scrotum.

To get the recommended four hours I must do a lot of short sessions, and it’s a lot of hassle taking that thing on an off so many times.

Thats why i love my totalman extender, the base is big enough so you can put it behind your scrotum so the extender doesn’t push against it. I have varicocele and used the jes extender before witch made my balls hurt if i wore it for 3-4+ hours.

Ball burn can be mitigated by keeping the scrotum well lubricated.

Looking at the Total Man extender, it seems to have a C-shaped base instead of an O-shaped base. I bet that would allow the scrotum to hang through the gap in the C-shaped base?
