There are extenders that have calibrated spring-loaded resistance. You can effectively recreate a hanging routine with higher tensions (even incrementally increasing tensions, like with the "Hanging with FIRe" technique that many have had success with using). So one hour in an extender is more like a one hour hanging session in a device where you increase tension to relatively high levels during your session.
This will probably work much more efficiently than one hour in the traditional low-tension extender session that is targeted for 4-8 hours.
If you are feeling extra motivated you can then switch to a stealth ADS for the extra hours of lower tension, if you want to do something like that. This doesn’t require an extender frame. Vacuum attachments are extremely versatile in this way: you can go from your high-tension extender session to a low-tension ADS on a leg band or waist band and no one but you will know about it.
But if I were to pick one over the other and only had 1 hour to work with, I’d go with high tension, at least several days a week and perhaps lower tension on your days off from high tension.
